And Richard Madden might have just sealed the deal after taking home the Best Actor in a Television Drama gong on Sunday night at the 76th annual Golden Globes in Los Angeles, for hit drama Bodyguard.

Victorious: Has Richard Madden secured his place as a contender for the role of James Bond, having scored a Golden Globe for Bodyguard on Sunday?
Sporting a very 'shaken not stirred' tuxedo, the Scottish star was thrilled with the achievement, clearly overwhelmed by the critical acclaim he has received across the pond.
After accepting the gong, he smiled and waved as he posed for snaps, the epitome of dapper in his slick black velvet number.
The hunky actor slicked his hair back smartly, and sported light stubble as he grinned and posed for photos.
He was riding solo - no sign of actress girlfriend Ellie Bamber, 21, who in December told Red magazine: 'Being away [filming] puts a strain on family and friends.'

While Ellie has made a name for herself in Hollywood productions such as Nocturnal Animals and The Nutcracker And The Four Realms, it's Richard currently basking in the glow of the spotlight, thanks to the runaway hit that was Bodyguard.
The drama aired on BBC One in the autumn, and then transferred to Netflix, where American audiences enjoyed it just as much.
Richard plays the titular role - Sergeant David Budd, an Afghanistan war veteran and Protection Command bodyguard, tasked with protecting The Right Honourable Julia Montague [Keeley Hawes] the Home Secretary.

According to reports, Bond producers are on the brink of approaching Madden to take arguably the most famous role in British film, thanks to his impressive turn in Bodyguard, as the brooding cop.
After putting on a notably steely-meets-sexy performance opposite Keeley, the bookies have eyed him up as a favourite to take the reigns from Daniel Craig ever since, after Bond 25.

Among those hoping for a win are Bradley Cooper - up for both best actor and best director for his tear-jerker A Star Is Born. His co-star Lady Gaga is nominated in the best actress category, while the film also received nods for best film and best original song.
Adam McKay's Dick Cheney biopic Vice in the nominations with six nods, including best picture, comedy and best actor nominations for Christian Bale's nearly unrecognizable performance as the former vice president.

It also earned nominations for Amy Adams' Lynne Cheney, Sam Rockwell's George W Bush and for the screenplay and direction by McKay, the veteran comedy filmmaker who once skewered politicians as a Saturday Night Live writer.
For even the often-quirky selections of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a collection of 88 mostly lesser-known freelance film journalists, the strong support for Vice was a surprise.
Even its categorization of the film — a highly critical portrait of Cheney as a power-hungry, behind-the-scenes tyrant — as a comedy raised some eyebrows, as did Globes recent comedy selections Get Out and The Martian.

On the television side, nominations are even more widely dispersed among the likes of Bill Hader's hit-man comedy Barry, the Julia Roberts-led conspiracy thriller Homecoming, Chuck Lorre's acting coach series The Kominsky Method and last year's champ, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Leading all small-screen nominees with four nods is The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, the FX anthology series about the Italian fashion designer's murder.
One star already confirmed as a winner is Jeff Bridges, who has been named as the winner of the prestigious Cecil B DeMille Award. The DeMille Award is given annually to an 'individual who has made an incredible impact on the world of entertainment.'
This year the Globes is also adding the Carol Burnett Award, an accolade that focuses on lifetime achievement in television. The inaugural award will go to the 85-year-old Burnett, a five-time winner at the Globes.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
