«Breaking News» Gemma Collins is taking 'extra fitness classes' with DOI's Dan Whiston to 'be in the best shape'

She insisted last month that she's not Dancing On Ice's 'fat joke' and vowed to win the whole competition.

And Gemma Collins, 37, has reportedly sworn to be in the best shape of her life by taking 'special fitness classes' with former Dancing On Ice winner Dan Whiston.

Dan, 42, told The Sun: 'She's going at it guns blazing. She wants to be the best she can be. She's not taking it lightly.

'She is giving it everything she's got. She's asking for more training time, she wants to get fit. I teach a lot of fitness as well as skating and directing, and I've been working with her on her fitness directly, which has been great to do.

'She's taking it very seriously and wants to be in the best shape she can be in. She's happy with her shape. She's voluptuous and confident in her shape, and I think that's a real example to a lot of ladies out there.' 

Meanwhile the hotly anticipated start of the 11th series started on Sunday night and Gemma put on the performance of her life with partner Matt Evers.

She was greeted with support from boyfriend and fellow-TOWIE star James 'Arg' Argent who said: 'I'm so nervous for her! It's the moment we've all been waiting for. Gemma, we love you, we're proud of you!' 

Gemma's VT saw her meeting pro Matt for the first time, whose reaction to seeing her was: 'Oh my f**king God!'

Telling him what she wanted from her first skate, Gemma said: 'I want the lot. Splits and fireworks!' Matt then informed her that the show was live, to which a shocked Gemma replied: 'I thought it was a pre-record!'

She and Matt danced to Beyoncé's Crazy In Love, and scored 16/40, receiving 4.5 from all judges apart from Jason Gardiner who gave her a 2.5.

Gemma's routine went off without a hitch, but improvised a hair flip at the end and nearly lost balance.

Coming off the ice, 'The GC' enthused: 'I made it! I got a bit carried away at the end where I added in a head flip!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
