«Breaking News» Dr Luke's attorney blasts back at Lady Gaga after her deposition in Kesha suit was unsealed

Lawyers for Dr Luke have issued a statement blasting Lady Gaga after her deposition in Kesha's failed lawsuit against the producer was revealed.

Attorneys for Dr Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, responded in a statement on Wednesday after the September 2017 deposition of Gaga was unsealed in court.

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, had been subpoenaed and deposed in the legal battle between singer Kesha Rose Sebert and Dr Luke due to text messages in which Kesha told Gaga that the producer had raped her, which he has denied.

'Being passionate about a topic that concerns us all is admirable. However, Lady Gaga has no knowledge of what happened on the night at issue because she was not there,' Dr Luke's lawyers said in a statement to Rolling Stone.

The statement continues: 'The actual evidence shows, among other things: Kesha got kicked out of a party after drinking too much and vomiting.'

'As an act of kindness, Dr. Luke offered to allow her to sleep in his hotel suite, a few blocks away. Kesha slept on the bed in the hotel suite, while Dr. Luke separately slept on the couch,' the lawyers said. 

'Dr. Luke testified under oath that he did not have any contact with Kesha. Kesha herself admitted under oath that she has absolutely no memory of Dr. Luke even being in the hotel room. Kesha has no memory of Dr. Luke engaging in inappropriate contact with her because it did not happen,' the statement said.

Kesha filed a suit against Dr Luke in Los Angeles in October 2014 alleging he had drugged her and raped her shortly after her 18th birthday in California and threatened to take away her publishing rights.

Dr Luke vigorously asserted that not only did he not rape Kesha, but that the two never even had sex. He filed a countersuit for defamation and a judge dismissed all of Kesha's abuse claims in 2016.

A defamation suit filed by Dr Luke continued in New York court, however, leading to Gaga's deposition. 

In her deposition, Gaga alternated between sobbing and angrily responding to questions about the alleged rape and the sexual assault of Kesha.

When Dr Luke's lawyer asked Gaga whether she had witnessed or had evidence of his abuse of Kesha, Gaga responded: 'Well, you know – when men assault women, they don't invite people over to watch.' 

Gaga added, 'And when this happens in this industry, it is kept extremely secret, and it is compounded by contracts and manipulative power scenarios that actually include this very situation that we are all in right now.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
