An animated version of the President was shown groping one of the female characters, Meg Griffin, inside the Oval Office
After bumping into Ivanka at a White House dinner, Peter's daughter Meg is introduced to the President, who is shown groping her in the Oval Office.
The incident is an apparent reference to the infamous 2005 Access Hollywood tape, a secret recording in which Trump was heard saying he liked to 'grab women by the p****y'.
'The only point in using Meg was to show that men like Trump can attempt to prey on vulnerable people,' Rich Appel, the shows Executive producer said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
'It's clearly offensive and gross and not appropriate.'
According to Appel, the producers didn't want to show the actual groping moment and instead opted to focus on the family's reaction to it.
'We wanted to touch on this aspect of Trump's public face, without putting Meg in too compromised a position,' Appel said of his animated star.
Vice President Mike Pence was also featured crouching behind a desk in a Gollum-like pose
Ivanka Trump was also portrayed during the show as she said of her father: 'He's kinda like my boyfriend'
At one point, while offering Meg a makeover, Ivanka says: 'When I'm done with you, you'll be pretty enough to marry an Orthodox Jewish son of a felon who's too stupid to get into Harvard the normal way.'
Meg replies, 'And whose voice is way higher that you thought it would be?' Right then, Kushner walks in and in a child's voice says, 'Hi, honey. Ready for dinner?'
In another scene Peter mock's Trumps fortune, saying: 'Billionaire? Please. You're worth $700 mil on the high side.
'And most of that is borrowed or tied up and underwater. That's why you ain't releasin' your taxes, Trump. You're cash poor!'
The episode ends with a minute-long fight between Peter and the President around the landmarks of Washington.
In the past, Family Guy has also mocked Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
The show concluded with a minute-long brawl between Peter Griffin and the President
The episode proved controversial on social media, with some users slamming Family Guy's representation of Trump.
'Family Guy is violating and his family rn. How did Fox approve this?' one user wrote.
While another said: 'Political comedy has hit a new low.'
But most Twitter users heaped praise on the depiction of the President.
One user tweeted: 'Sad situation we’re in. But so funny at the same time...'
And another commented: 'This episode may be the only good thing to come out of the entire presidency.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
