«Breaking News» Dad, 46, fatally shot while lured to death in 'escort entrapment scheme' involving teen girl, 18

A Georgia dad is believed to have been killed after getting caught up in an alleged escort entrapment scheme.

Married father of four, Roderick Crawford, 46, of Barnesville, Georgia, was last seen on December 28, 2018, when he told his family that he was going to check his schedule at the trucking company he worked for, Barnesville.com reported.  

That night, at 7.19pm, he called his wife, but she missed the call, and he was not heard from again. 

Authorities said that Roderick Crawford, 46, was lured to his death by Kiera Williams, 18, a woman he contacted through an escort service website. He went missing on December 28

Crawford's body was found by a deputy on January 3, dumped behind this abandoned home about 30 minutes from his family home. Crawford was fatally shot

Authorities confirmed Friday that Crawford's body was found murdered and dumped behind an abandoned mobile home in Thomaston, Georgia, which is about 30 minutes away from his home. 

A deputy was said to have stumbled across Crawford's corpse on the previous night. He had been fatally shot. 

Authorities told Fox News that they believed that Crawford had left his home on the day he went missing, so that he could meet up with Kiera Williams, 18, who he had allegedly contacted through a escort website. 

Police said that they suspect Crawford was lured to his death, according to Fox News.

On the night that Crawford, a married father of four, disappeared, he told his family he was going to check his work schedule and later phoned his wife, who missed the call

Williams and an individual called Cameron Jones, 20, were taken into custody Thursday and are now facing multiple charges including murder, armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault. 

WSBTV reported that Jones' connection to Crawford's death has not yet been revealed. 

In a statement obtained by the news channel, Crawford's family said that, 'We do not understand the reasons for this and we ask that everyone remember Roderick as he lived his life for 46 years; as a son, brother, father, husband, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.'

The family went on to state, 'We continue to pray that God will bless us with peace and understanding. We ask that those around us remain caring and compassionate as we heal from this unspeakable tragedy.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
