Moon landing biopic: The screen star has just received her first ever BAFTA Film nomination for her performance in First Man
First Man, directed by Damien Chazelle, is based on a true story as it follows the life of Neil Armstrong on his quest to become the first man to walk on the moon.
Claire, who plays Ryan Gosling's wife in the motion picture, went to great lengths in the hopes of channelling her character Janet in the most authentic way possible.
During a recent interview on BBC with Tom Ravenscroft, Claire revealed she had time to familarise herself with the role of Janet, alongside her on-screen husband Ryan.
'We had two weeks of improvised film rehearsal, many of scenes are in the film. We had time to get to know each other. There were happy moments and Ryan was carrying the whole ship!'

Mark Armstrong, one of the late astronaut's three children, opened up about the experience of seeing just how focused the British-born star was when it came to filming scenes for the movie.
'When I saw her on screen, I was overwhelmed with emotion,' Armstrong reveals. 'Mum only passed away recently so, to see her up there, alive and so real… it was incredible.
'Foy wanted to know the minutiae. Mum called me Marco and my brother Ricky. She wanted to know the balance and strength of my mother. What she was really like?' Claire captured Mum's essence. She communicates so many feelings without words. I got very emotional.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
