«Breaking News» Campaign for Stevie Nicks to work a shift at McDonald's in Fleetwood gets thousands of supporters

Thousands of Fleetwood Mac fans are backing a campaign to have rock legend Stevie Nicks work a shift at McDonald's. 

But it isn't just any McDonald's the campaign is pushing for. 

The Fleetwood Mac songstress is being prodded to work a shift at a McDonald's in the English town of Fleetwood. 

The singer's shift, scheduled in a Facebook event on September 28, already has more than 3,300 people pledging to line up to be served by Miss Nicks herself.

The event wouldn't be too long, with Nick's shift only lasting from 8am to 11am. 

The Facebook event shows 3,300 people attending and 19,000 interested

A Facebook community called Be Reet is behind the event with more than 19,000 people interested in the Campaign For Stevie Nicks To Work A Shift at Fleetwood McDonald's. 

Be Reet often starts humorous campaigns and has given its fan a poll to vote on their favorite Fleetwood Mac inspired happy meal. 

Puns including, 'Fries, Sweet Little Fries,' 'The Fast Food Chain,' 'Go Your Own Shake' and 'Big Love Mac' have been voted on.  

Many fans of both McDonald's and the classic band have shown their excitement in the Facebook event. 

'Stevie Nicks is my hero!!!! Serve me fries serve me sweet little fries!' one person said.  

 '....serving up all those Fleetwood Fleetwood Mac Macs,' another said. 

While one person optimistically wrote: 'Maybe she can actually get the ice cream machine working.'

Responding to the page, a McDonald's spokesman told NME: 'We've heard some rumours that Stevie Nicks might be keen to visit our own Fleetwood Macs. 

'Next time she's in the area we'd be delighted to welcome her for some sweet little fries before she goes her own way…'  

Nick's proposed shift is scheduled for September 28 from 8am to 11am

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
