«Breaking News» Hillary Clinton accuses Brett Kavanaugh of being 'out of bounds' in Senate hearing

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday said Brett Kavanaugh's behavior during his Senate testimony - where he accused the Democrats of getting revenge on him for his work against the Clintons - was 'out of bounds.'

'The performance, the behavior was quite out of bounds. I don't ever remember anything like that,' she said at the Atlantic Events Festival.

'As someone who has testified,' she added with laughter and to applause. In October 2015, Clinton testified for a marathon 11 hours before the House Select Committee on Benghazi on the attack on the U.S. consulate there.

And Clinton echoed concerns from Democrats about what Kavanaugh's testimony on Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee says about his ability to be a judge.

'For anyone who believes there's such a thing as a judicial temperament and that we want judges, particularly those on our highest court, to approach issues, approach plaintiffs and defendants with a sense of fairness that there's a lot to be concerned about,' she said.

She also said she found Christine Blasey Ford's testimony to be credible.

'I found her very credible, You have to ask yourself why would anybody put themselves through this if they didn't have important information to convey to the Senate,' Clinton said.

Clinton gave a deep belly laugh when asked about Kavanaugh's accusation against her and her husband.

'I mean, really, it deserves a lot of laughter,' she said.

'I thought it was just part of the whole of his very defense and unconvincing presentation and I told someone later, boy, they give us a lot of credit. Thirty six years ago we started this agains him,' she said.

'Back at Yale,' asked Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor in chief of The Atlantic. The Clintons attended Yale University, as did Kavanaugh, although not at the same time.

'Yeah even before in high school apparently,' Clinton said.

Kavanaugh charged Democrats with being against him for his work for Ken Starr during the impeachment process on Bill Clinton.

'Fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record, revenge on behalf of the Clintons, and millions of dollars in money from outside left-wing opposition groups,' he said.

But his angry words and bitter exchanges with Democrats led to questions about his ability to serve as an impartial judge on the high court.

Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who got into a verbal battle with Kavanaugh on Thursday, revealed she was 'really stunned' by how he conducted himself with her.

'I was really stunned by how he acted at that hearing. This is basically a job interview for the highest court of the land,' said Klobuchar, who serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee, on CNN on Sunday.

When she asked if he'd ever drank so much that he 'didn't remember what happened the night before or part of what happened', the embattled nominee responded: 'You're asking about blackout. I don't know, have you?'

A surprised look washed over Klobuchar's face before she pressed again: 'Could you answer the question, judge?'

Kavanaugh answered: 'Yeah, and I'm curious if you have.'

Sen Klobuchar replied: 'I have no drinking problem, judge,' as the time allotted for her line of questioning ran out.

Kavanaugh said: 'Nor do I,' just as a recess was called.

When they returned from the break Kavanaugh apologized to the senator, saying: 'I'm sorry I did that. This is a tough process.'

Kavanaugh was defending himself from an allegation of sexual assault from Christine Blasey Ford, who had testified before him. He has denied the charge.

Klobuchar said she appreciated the apology before adding: 'When you have a parent that is an alcoholic, you are pretty careful about drinking.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
