«Breaking News» Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson flirt openly with each other on Instagram again after hiatus

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande are openly flirting with each other on Instagram again, after both scaling back their social media activities over the summer due to negative comments.

Ariana, 25, and Pete, 24, left fun, flirtatious comments on each other's publications recently, with Pete deeming one of Ariana's photos 'hot' while Ariana called her fiancé's post 'sick'.

This comes after Ariana announced in July she would take a break from Twitter and Instagram as she started posting on Snapchat again. That same month, Pete deleted all of the photos on his Instagram account and called the internet 'an evil place'.

The comedian, who returned to Saturday Night Live on Saturday for the show's season premiere, shared his first Instagram post in almost three months on Monday.

He posted an image of a Polaroid with the somewhat enigmatic caption: 'hooray romano', to Ariana's apparent delight.

'Where the mixtape,' she wrote in a first comment, before adding in a second message: 'This is suck and ur page looks cool never post again.'

So far, Pete only has one Instagram post up on his Instagram profile the Polaroid image. None of the photos that he deleted when he wiped off his account in July have resurfaced.

Ariana has been posting on Instagram too and reactivated users' comments over the weekend, after turning them off last month in the wake of Mac Miller's death.

Pete was among the ones who jumped at the chance to comment on Ariana's photos again.

After the singer shared a black and white photo of herself on Sunday, Pete took to the comments section to tell her: 'Hot. All the ones you posted with me not online are hot. Love ya'

He referenced his own social media hiatus, adding: 'Bye for another three months.'

In his return to SNL, Pete cracked several jokes about his relationship with Ariana. Saturday's season premiere marked the first time the show had a chance to address Pete and Ariana's very public engagement, since it was on hiatus when the news of their upcoming nuptials broke in May.

Pete has faced backlash for joking during the episode that he has replaced Ariana's birth control with Tic Tacs, presumably so that she will become pregnant, thus ensuring the future of their relationship.

Several Twitter users slammed Pete for the joke, deeming it unfunny and 'creepy'.

One person wrote: 'Generally I thought Pete Davidson was funny, but until birth control sabotage stops being a common form of abuse and a way abusers trap women in dangerous relationships, I'm not going to laugh at that joke.'

Back when Pete deleted his Instagram account in July, he shared a message on his Instagram Story clarifying his views on social media. 

'No there's nothing wrong. No nothing happened. No there's nothing cryptic about anything,' he wrote. 'I just don't wanna be on Instagram anymore, or on any social media platform.

'The Internet is an evil place and it doesn't make me feel good. Why should I spend any time on negative energy when my real life is f*****g lit. The fact that I even have to say this proves my point.

'I love you all and I'm sure I'll be back at some point.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
