«Breaking Pic News» Hypnotist tries to put under Jenna Bush Hager, Dylan Dreyer, and Al Roker on the Today show

Jenna Bush Hager, Al Roker, and Dylan Dreyer went through a live hypnosis session on the Today show on Wednesday morning — with moderate success.

The three anchors agreed to let celebrity hypnotist Rickard Barker, who previously made Al howl at the moon like a werewolf during a 2015 session, try to put them under.

A group of volunteers also joined the experiment, during which Richard asked the group to swim like goldfish, act like wild animals, and dance — and even got one man to apparently forget his own name.

Richard began by asking Jenna, 36, Dylan, 37, and Al, 64, as well as the panel of volunteers, to relax.

After almost 10 minutes of relaxation designed to put the volunteers under, Richard asked the group to imagine that they felt like small goldfish ready to swim around in a bowl.

'Imagine yourself, a goldfish,' he urged the group.

He then counted to three and instructed the anchors and attendees to start swimming, at which point Jenna started waving her arms around feebly while gently moving her legs.

Al, however, didn't seem to be impacted at all and even opened his eyes. Richard promptly told him to keep relaxing.

Other attendees appeared to completely surrender to Richard's instructions, giving their best version of a goldfish swim.

Richard then asked the group to imagine they were watching their favorite movie — a funny one — eliciting laughter from the volunteers.

Al, Jenna, and Dylan, however, remained straight-faced.

The hypnotist further manipulated the group's emotions by telling them the movie was now getting sad, causing one of the volunteers to start sobbing.

Richard got the man to laugh again by telling him to imagine the movie was getting funnier and funnier, and kept working with that same volunteer, telling him to forget his own name.

'When your eyes open, you're going to realize your name is completely vanished from your memory bank,' he told him before instructing him to open his eyes.

'Hey my brother, what's your name?' he asked.

'I'm not sure,' the man replied.

Richard asked him to try again, reminding him that the more he tried to think if his own name, the more it would disappear from his memory, leading the man to respond: 'I don't know.'

Going wild: Richard managed to get the volunteers, but not the three anchors, to act like wild animals of their choice

The hypnotist then turned his attention back to the group, telling them to imagine they were now 'exotic animals of [their] choice' and asking them to behave like said animals.

Once again, the prompt appeared to work on volunteers, including one woman who started imitating an elephant, but it didn't seem to reach the anchors, who stayed in their respective chairs.

For his last prompt, Richard told the group to imagine they were now renowned dancers, asking them to bust out their best moves.

The volunteers obeyed, saved for Al, Jenna, and Dylan, who remained sitting.

Richard ended the experiment by telling everyone to open their eyes, and the anchors took time to debrief.

Although she didn't look like she was under Richard's influence during the hypnosis session, Jenna revealed it had affected her to some extent.

'The only thing that was really dramatic was when you said "Open your eyes, open your eyes" and I couldn't, I couldn't open my eyes,' she told the hypnotist.

'I was like, "Open your eyes, open your eyes," and I couldn't! But I couldn't get into the dancing.'

Dylan said she experienced the same thing, telling Richard: 'My heart started racing because I couldn't open my eyes.'

Call of duty? Richard said the experiment likely worked less on Jenna, Dylan, and Al because they had bigger responsibilities while on the air than the rest of the volunteers

Hoda Kotb, 54, who watched the experiment next to Savannah Guthrie, 46, took special interest in the volunteer who seemed to forget his own name during the experiment.

'What is your name?' she asked him.

'I'm Mark,' the volunteer replied.

Richard jumped at the opportunity to show off one more trick, telling Mark: 'You know what's interesting, Mark? It's gone.' The hypnotist snapped his fingers and told Mark that his name would once again vanish from his memory.

Hoda asked again: 'What's your name?'

'Um, I don't know,' Mark said this time around.

Richard offered an explanation as to why the hypnosis session didn't seem to work on Al, Jenna, and Dylan, despite the fact that other volunteers appeared to go under completely.

'So here's the thing,' he said. 'This is very, very quick and lots more responsibilities so therefore lots more on the mind.'

Al told the hypnotist he could hear him, while Jenna admitted: 'I was trying to not get into it.'

Prior to the session, Richard stressed how important it is for volunteers to be relaxed in order for hypnosis to work.

'Here's the deal. What the mind believes it achieves, if you want to block it, you can and will block it,' he said. 'But if you want to listen and be receptive and just go with the flow and [want] what I say to be true, it will become true.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
