Ander Herrera has showed that being snubbed by Spain won't be getting him down any time soon as he smiled for a photo with Manchester United's backroom staff at Carrington.
Herrera's United compatriot David De Gea is currently away on international duty for their upcoming Nations League opening game but the Spanish midfielder had to stay behind back in Manchester.
It didn't seem to bother the 29-year-old as he smiled for a selfie with goalkeeping coach Emiliano Alvarez and conditioning coach Robin Thorpe on Wednesday afternoon.

Despite not getting his chance with Spain after earning just two caps, Herrera has proved to be quite versatile for his club.
He started as a centre back in United's 3-0 defeat to Spurs over a fortnight ago before coming on to see out the win against Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
Herrera has also made it known that he is keen to extend his deal with the Red Devils after entering the final year of his contract.
Herrera wants to stay at Manchester United though he is still to agree a new contract
Though there is interest from his native Spain with the likes of Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia monitoring his situation, Herrera is keen to extend his time at Old Trafford.
His representatives have held talks with United on and off over the past 12 months but have yet to find accord.
United's hierarchy have developed a reputation among the playing staff of allowing contract talks to drift with Marouane Fellaini a case in point at the end of last season.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
