«Breaking News» Paul Weller’s daughter Leah, 26, marries Calvin Klein model Tomo Kurata, 28

The ‘Modfather’ Paul Weller surrendered the spotlight to his eldest daughter, Leah, at the weekend, when she married Japanese Calvin Klein model Tomo Kurata.

The 26-year-old musician, whose mother is The Style Council singer Dee C. Lee, wore a Riki Dalal white lace gown, while the 28-year-old groom sported a DAKS black suit and shirt.

Animal rights activist Leah had a vegan wedding cake at the reception, which was held at Goodwood House in West Sussex.

Paul, 60, who became a dad for the eighth time last year, couldn’t resist showing off his moves when he took to the dancefloor with the bride.

EVEN KATE CAN'T SAVE JEAN QUEEN

Has the ‘Kate Effect’ worn off? Any fashion label worn by the Duchess of Cambridge used to enjoy a huge boost to its fortunes, but now one of her favourite jeans designers, Donna Ida, has shut up shop.

The business, whose trousers were also worn by TV presenters Holly Willoughby and Donna Air, has closed both its London outlets, in Belgravia and Chelsea.

‘They couldn’t survive crippling rents and business rates,’ an insider tells me.

Its online business has also gone into voluntary liquidation. Where will Kate (left) buy her skinny jeans now?

TROLL CHIC: JAGGER'S HAIR-RAISING NEW DO

When Mick Jagger’s daughter Georgia May strutted down the catwalk for London Fashion Week, it wasn’t only her clothes commanding attention.

The natural blonde, who has previously dyed her locks orange and red, admits: ‘I used to dye my hair pink a lot when I was younger, but my mum didn’t like it.’ Let’s hope she’s changed her mind.

Bodyguard star Richard Madden, who disrobed in an earlier episode of the BBC drama to reveal his naked bottom, is happy to share the glory.

‘I did have body make-up on it,’ he says. ‘I don’t sunbathe nude, so yes, that was applied, and it was down to very good lighting.’

Talk about infelicitous timing. In his new book, How To Be A Footballer, former England striker Peter Crouch describes tennis star Serena Williams as ‘the epitome of cool talent and excellence under pressure’.

The tennis star was fined £13,000 last week in the wake of her tumultuous U.S. Open final loss to Naomi Osaka, during which she received a code violation for coaching, a penalty point for racquet abuse and a game penalty for calling the umpire a ‘liar’ and a ‘thief’.

Oscar-winner Viola Davis reveals her co-star Liam Neeson is a gentleman in the bedroom. ‘It was absolutely terrifying, to tell you the truth,’ she says of their sex scene in Steve McQueen’s new film, Widows.

‘Liam was cool. He was like: “OK, where do you want me to be? Do you want me to take my clothes off?” He was very respectful, great, an elegant gentleman — everything you could possibly imagine.’

The 53-year-old, who won an Oscar last year for her supporting role in Fences, adds: ‘Anyone who says a scene like that is fun and not frightening, I wonder what it has cost them. Every time you act, it costs you something.’

DEVIOUS COLD-CALLER BRINGS OUT MADELEY'S 'FRUITY' SIDE

Blessed with a famously long and happy marriage to Judy Finnigan — his co-presenter for many years, first on This Morning and later on Richard & Judy — the perma-tanned Richard Madeley has often been classified as TV royalty.

But that, I can disclose, has not prevented him from falling victim to the common contagion of nuisance calls.

Madeley, 62, has been so exasperated by cold-calls and endless ‘weird, cranky texts’ over the past few days that he has had to change his mobile number.

‘His language has been quite fruity,’ I’m told. ‘He says that “some t***” has got hold of his number and he’s had three days of cold-calls and what he describes as “weird texts”.

‘He pointed out that he blocked “the t***”, but apparently whoever it was has been sharing the number around, so Richard’s having to get a new number immediately.’

Not a moment too soon, it seems. ‘He was being contacted about an exhaust system for an old Ford Scorpio. The guy had listed his number on a website for clapped-out cars.’

An interviewer once observed that ‘the only difference between real-life Madeley and telly Madeley is the swearing’, but ‘real-life Madeley’ scrupulously minds his language when confirming what’s happened. ‘I’m not going to add petrol to the fire,’ he tells me, before acknowledging that he’d had the same mobile number for many years.

It is not the only inconvenience Madeley has endured in recent months. Madeley and Judy, 70, had to spend their nights in separate beds after Madeley deputised for Piers Morgan during a three-week stint on the Good Morning Britain sofa, which required him to get up at 3.30am.

Pampered Princess Margaret couldn’t even operate an electric kettle. In tonight’s BBC2 documentary Princess Margaret:

The Rebel Royal, her former lady-in-waiting Lady Anne Glenconner relates how the Princess ‘came to stay and said: “Don’t worry about my breakfast dear, I’ve brought my own kettle,” ’ says Lady Anne.

‘In the morning, I heard her calling me . . . she said: “I don’t know how to turn the kettle on.” ’

SOPHIE PIGS OUT FOR HER 41ST BIRTHDAY

Animal-loving author Roald Dahl would have been proud of his granddaughter, Sophie, for enjoying a porcine-themed 41st birthday.

The former model, who has two young children with her musician husband, Jamie Cullum, shared a picture at the weekend of herself cosying up to a pig at a farm.

She wrote: ‘When you are, generally speaking, a cantankerous old b**** on your birthday, but your kind, clever husband knows that outside of your immediate beloveds, the key to your heart lies in (visiting) animals and cake.’

Jazz impresario Jools Holland, 60, has long intrigued fans with his age-defying shock of raven hair.

Now, the mystery is seemingly solved after Holland revealed his secret at the Boisdale Music Awards.

‘I haven’t got a grey hair on my head because I get loads of sex,’ he joked. I’m sure his wife of 13 years, Christabel McEwen, 56, who was once married to the 7th Earl of Durham, will be delighted at her husband’s disclosure.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
