«Breaking News» Parents who do pole-dancing with their children say it's 'perfectly appropriate'

Parents who have taught their three young children how to pole-dance have insisted their family hobby is 'perfectly appropriate'.

Jake Night and Lindsey Teall, of St Louis in Missouri, who are both exotic dancers, practice the risque sport with Aiden, 11, Lindsey's son from her first marriage, and their two daughters, Alaura, five, and three-year-old Rosalyn in a pole they've had installed in the middle of their living room.

Clad in crop tops and hot pants, the family showed off their moves on This Morning on Wednesday, which saw Alaura whizzing around the pole with skill.

The performance was slammed by This Morning viewers, who branded it 'disturbing'.

The couple have been teaching their children pole-dance moves since they were born and Lindsey continued to do it throughout her pregnancies.

They insisted there was nothing sexual about the sport and they make it age-appropriate for their children.

Jake said: 'We separate the adult side form the family side.'

Lindsey, who competes in pole-dancing competitions,  agreed, saying the children have never seen the sexual side to the sport.

The scenes were slammed by This Morning viewers on Twitter (pictured), who branded them 'disturbing' and said the parents should be 'ashamed'

She said: 'We got them into it strictly as fitness and they’ve only ever seen the fitness side of it.

'We go to conventions and they see me compete and we don’t feel they need to see the exotic side but if they grow older and they do that’s their choice.'

'I would say its perfectly appropriate as long as you keep it age appropriate.'

Presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield then asked them to demonstrate some moves and they took it in turns to swing around the pole.

Rosalyn was put at the very top of the pole to slide down and Alaura clung to Lindsey's ankle while the mum-of-three swung around with her leg in the air.

Then Alaura got her own turn on the pole and spun in circles with her legs opened wide.

The shocking scenes were criticised by This Morning viewers, who said the parent should be 'ashamed' for teaching their parents the raunchy moves.

One tweeted: 'What am I watching on #ThisMorning. Seeing a little girl with her legs wide open on daytime telly, actually disgusting. the parents should be ashamed.'

'Ok that's disturbing,' another posted.

A third said: 'Pole dancing kids is just wrong on so many levels.'

Aiden practices pole dancing every day after school, while Lindsey says Alaura and Rosalyn were born with the bug after she pole danced through both pregnancies.

Jake previously commented on the backlash they've faced for being a pole-dancing family.

He said: 'We have dealt with a lot of negative comments, I can't even count, thousands upon thousands upon thousands. We've heard some pretty horrific things, they were going to hunt us down and kill us and take our children.

'The naysayers, the haters and everybody like that just makes us, as parents, more protective of them,' he added.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
