«Breaking News» Mothercare reveals its must-have toys for Christmas 2018

There may still be three months to go until the big day, but for retailers up and down the country the Christmas countdown is officially on.

And Mothercare is the latest store to unveil its pick of top 10 children's toys predicted to sweep the 2018 festive season.

Aimed at youngsters aged between 18 months and five years, the list marks a major shift from gadgets to retro wooden toys.

The British retail giant predicts a kitchen play set will be at the top of kids' wish lists this year, with a plush dolls' house and a high-tech scooter following closely behind.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, a spokesperson for Mothercare said they had observed a shift towards more 'imaginative' toys - from toy kitchens to work benches, farmyard sets and dolls' houses.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
