«Breaking News» Mel B's ex-nanny insists he wants to HELP the singer and her children with testimony

Mel B's ex-nanny has insisted he gave his testimony claiming she was neglecting her children due to a drink, drugs and sex addiction to help the Spice Girl.

Rusty Updegraff alleged that her drinking was out of control, she was 'incapable' of caring for Madison and her 11-year-old sister Angel and her ferocious appetite for sex made her bed a slew of random men.

The 59-year-old has now claimed he didn't make the allegations for 'fame', but out of genuine concern for the singer, 44, and her children.

'Mel would drink so much at the house and pass out that if there was an emergency I dread to think what would happen,' he told The Mirror

'I am not doing this for fame, and I didn't have to do this, but I love those children and want the best for them.'

MailOnline has contacted Mel's representatives for comment.

Rusty branded Mel the 'world's number one bad mother' in his court testimony.

He spoke to DailyMail.com after a damning declaration he signed was submitted at LA Superior Court accusing Mel of using cocaine, heavy drinking and seriously neglecting her children Angel 11, and Madison, seven.

In the filing he also claims Mel's ferocious appetite for sex means there's a procession of strangers at the family home.

He claims she's slept with dozens of men since divorcing Belafonte - including her children's piano teacher, a driver, a hairdresser, a 'surfer kid' and a guy she picked up at SoHo House, who the kids nicknamed 'smelly feet'.

In the wake of his claims, Mel has been ordered to submit four months of drug and alcohol testing after a judge demanded a 'full scale custody' evaluation in her ongoing dispute with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte over daughter Madison, seven.

Her mother Andrea Brown has since slammed the claims. She admitted that while Mel has a 'wild streak' and sometimes has 'a bit to much to drink', she would never booze while looking after her children.

'I can no longer sit back and let this man try and ruin my daughter and traumatise my grandchildren,' Andrea told The Sun

She added: 'She's always had a wild streak but she's a good mum and those kids mean the world to her.

'I know she has on occasion had a bit too much to drink but I also know the trauma she's gone through being married to Stephen. She has PTSD and she's said she does sometimes drink to numb her pain but never when she's looking after the kids.'

Andrea added that the accusations were a case of Rusty trying to 'blacken Melanie's name'.

A spokesperson for the former Spice Girl is speaking out about her determination to prove she is a fit parent to her children.

'Melanie is willing to do whatever it takes to provide proof to the court that she is a stable person,' Gary Madatyan told UsWeekly on Thursday.

'She was ordered to take one test a week, but Melanie wanted to do more, and offered to do it twice a week. Melanie will be drug tested twice a week.'

Mel, 43, and Belafonte, also 43, must share the costs of the drug testing, the court ordered, and must also hire a new nanny who must be present whenever Mel is with Madison.

The judge ordered the testing as part of the evaluation of whether Mel can continue to share custody of Madison with her ex.

The judge also ordered that while they have custody of Madison, 'neither parent will consume drugs or alcohol during the custodial time or eight hours before the custodial time.'

Mel B is currently seeking treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. The U.K. native was diagnosed with PTSD following her divorce as well as the death of her father, Martin.

Belafonte and Brown - who split up in March last year - were divorced in December after a long-running battle in which lurid tales of kinky sex, drug and alcohol abuse and allegations of domestic violence made headlines.

Despite their divorce being finalized nine months ago, the battle over children's custody and finances have dragged on through this summer.

Brown estimated that she's spent more than $1 million in legal fees and owes another $800,000 to attorneys and accountants.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
