«Breaking News» Mbappe and Pogba train with France team-mates while Koeman puts Holland stars through their paces

France and Holland were hard at work on Saturday as they geared up for their highly anticipated UEFA Nations League clash at the Stade de France.

Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann and Co were pictured preparing for the clash inside an empty Stade de France, which will play host to a celebratory occasion on Sunday.

The French squad, still beaming following their historic World Cup triumph in Russia this summer, were in very high spirits as Didier Deschamps gave his final instructions.

The star-studded squad were pictured taking part in agility drills before moving onto ball work as they put the finishing touches to their preparations ahead of their first home match since winning the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman also put his Holland stars through their paces at the Stade de France.

Memphis Depay and Virgil van Dijk were snapped training intensely as Holland look to make a huge statement of intent on Sunday by claiming the massive scalp of France.

And ahead of the match, both managers have been speaking to the media, with Deschamps urging his France side to be sharper than they were against Germany.

'We're returning home, but we need to be more efficient,' he told UEFA. 'We ran out of steam towards the end against Germany and obviously the entire squad is not yet in top form. Not at this time of the season.

'I haven't decided yet whether to rotate players - anything is possible. Given that it's our first match back at the Stade de France, in front of our fans, I'll see how everyone recovers.'

While France have gone from strength to strength, Holland have seen their stock fall considerably with back-to-back failures to qualify for major tournaments.

Koeman is in charge now and tasked with the job of making the Dutch a force in European and world football once more, and he is looking forward to the challenge of facing France.

'They are the world champions for a reason, without really playing great or beautiful football,' he told UEFA'.

'When you want to improve, you have to play against nations of this level. The World Cup has proven that nothing is impossible - just look at [runners-up] Croatia - but we're certainly the underdogs.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
