Mac Miller, born Malcolm James McCormick, was pronounced dead of an apparent overdose on Friday afternoon.

And now in what appears to be the last known footage of the rapper, a fan has shared footage of the 26-year-old rapper making music in his Los Angeles home on Thursday night—just hours before his passing.

'I love how comfortable I am making a beat on LIVE,' Miller can be heard saying on Instagram Live as he toyed around on his keyboards.

Along with making new music, Mac was reportedly watching football with friends the night before he died. 

'He loved the Steelers and was just out with friends watching the game last night,' a music industry source told PEOPLE. 

The insider added: 'Everyone who he worked with was aware that he was delicate, but thought it was because of the new album, nerves, nothing like this.'

Miller released his latest album—Swimming—on August 3. 

Just days ago, Vulture released an in-depth profile, reported in August, on the Pittsburgh native who embraced life's roller coaster of emotions. 

'I really wouldn't want just happiness. And I don't want just sadness either,' he said.  

'I don't want to be depressed. I want to be able to have good days and bad days…I can't imagine not waking up sometimes and being like, "I don't feel like doing shit." And then having days where you wake up and you feel on top of the world.'

Future plans: Miller released his latest album—Swimming—on August 3. He was slated to be on tour from late October to early December 

Mac's body was found at his home in the San Fernando Valley around noon on Friday.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Miller's home had been virtually 'swept clean' of pill bottles, illegal drugs, and paraphernalia by the time they arrived.

'It makes no sense that someone who consumed a fatal dose would have the foresight to scrub the house,' the source said. 

The Weekend rapper was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. And while his cause of death has yet to be determined, PEOPLE sources believe he went into cardiac arrest.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
