«Breaking News» Luxury apartment in mansion once owned by the Cartier family goes on sale for £1.75million

Those that want to live a life of luxury can now buy an apartment in a stunning mansion once owned by the Cartier family - on the market for £1.75million.

The mansion at Sondes Place in Dorking, Surrey, was bought by the famous French jewellers in 1929 and was also rented to an Indian Maharajah in 1935 who came to the UK for the silver jubilee of King George V.

The 19th century mansion was later used as offices but then fell into disrepair.

It has now been restored to its former glory and divided into five exclusive apartments and one main house.

'Every home benefits from attractive outside space in the form of a spacious roof terrace or sunken garden terrace.

'Internally, sensitively restored and recreated features such as traditional double glazed sash windows, bespoke skirting, ceiling details and cornicing to principal rooms offer a timeless appeal.

'Set back from a quiet tree-lined road on the outskirts of attractive Dorking town, Sondes Place is surrounded by landscaped gardens and mature woodland - and is wonderfully located for both town and country.'

Originally built by Thomas Cubitt in 1850 with commanding views over the Surrey Hills, the mansion has been restored to its original Georgian style, with a contemporary twist.

The Cartier family owned a Parisian jewellery house which dates back to the mid 19th century and was once described by King Edward VII as the ‘jeweller of kings and king of jewellers’.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
