«Breaking News» Lady Gaga wipes away tears as she listens to co-star Anthony Ramos

She plays an aspiring singer who is thrust into a whole new level of fame in the upcoming revival of A Star Is Born.

But Lady Gaga was moved to tears after hearing about another success story from within her cast.

During an interview on Good Morning America, the actress, 32, became emotional after listening to co-star Anthony Ramos credit his drama teacher, Sara Steinweiss,  for changing his life after a childhood spent in the projects.

The actress wiped away tears while Anthony emotionally reflected on the teacher who wouldn't give up on him. 

'Changed my life,' he said of his teacher before wiping away tears and adding, 'I grew up in the projects. Virtually I had no chance.'

'And I had this woman who said, "You know, I'm not giving up on you. Ever."' 

Anthony rose to fame after graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and becoming one of the original stars of the hit musical, Hamilton.

Life-changing: Ramos credited his teacher, Sara Steinweiss (R), for helping him pursue an acting career 

His credits include roles in the musicals Grease, Damn Yankees, and In The Heights. 

A few years after appearing in the Broadway hit Hamilton, Anthony now plays Ramon in A Star Is Born.   

The tight-knit bond between the cast was evident during their interview with Good Morning America.

Gaga said her connection with Bradley was instantaneous.  

'We had instant chemistry,' Gaga said. 'From the moment I met him. As soon as I opened the door to my house and saw him, it was like, "You hungry?" We are both Italian and from the East Coast, and before I knew it I was heating up some leftovers for him and we were eating together.' 

A Star Is Born boasts a cast of Bradley Cooper, Sam Elliott, and Dave Chappelle.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
