Kathy Griffin has shot out at Big Brother host Julie Chen and her husband Les Moonves just before the CBS chief stepped down Sunday night amid sexual assault accusations.
'F*** you and your misogynistic husband,' the comedian wrote in a private message to Chen which she signed off with 'Bye b**tch', before posting as part of a lengthy 17-part Twitter rant claiming the host helped her husband ruin Janet Jackson's career following her famous 2004 Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction - broadcast on CBS.
Griffin also claims she was told by her agents that the 68-year-old CEO 'wasn't going to consider any women' to host the The Late Late Show when she expressed interest in replacing former host Craig Ferguson in 2014.
'Normally, I hate when women are blamed for their husband's misconduct...it happens all the time,' Griffin said in light of the 48-year-old host standing by Moonves despite the serious allegations.
'Then, several days ago I learned of how Julie has treated people from folks that I know personally,' she said, admitting that most of her information on Chen comes from secondhand accounts.
The CEO resigned on Sunday after the publication of a New Yorker article in July in which six women accused him of a raft of abuses from exposing himself in his office to forcing sex.

Griffin claims Chen helped her husband ruin Janet Jackson's career after her famous 2004 Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction
'I have a story to tell and it's related to the whole Les Moonves situation,' Griffin tweeted at the start of her 17-part rant. 'After the first allegations against Leslie were revealed, I hoped his wife wouldn't face blowback.'
'Julie Chen has always been nice to me and I had no reason to believe that she knew about her husband assaulting women before they got married. So I reached out to her and told her I would love to come on her show and I didn't need to make it about her husband/CBS
'She never got back to me...but I figured she was just swamped with the scandal and didn't think anything of it. Then, several days ago I learned of how Julie has treated people from folks that I know personally.'
Griffin then shared a Huffington Post piece which accuses Moonves of ruining Janet Jackson's career, which she said 'reminded me so much of what women faced in this business from powerful men who were offended that the women didn't kiss their ring.'
The article claims Moonves became obsessed with ruining Jackson's career after the incident, which was quickly dubbed 'Nipplegate'.
The comedian then shared a 2017 clip from Chen's talk show in which the host speaks 'smugly' about Jackson.
'Julie knew her husband helped to destroy Janet's career and this is how she speaks?' Griffin questioned.
Griffin took to Twitter Sunday night in a lengthy rant to hit out at the former CBS executive
The comedian said she got second-hand accounts of how 'Julie Chen has treated people I know personally'
She posted a screen shot of a message Griffin sent to Chen last Thursday which reads: 'You know what Julie? I've changed my mind. F*** you and your misogynistic husband. You two deserve each other. Oh, and tell him Kathy f******* Griffin said hello. Bye b****.'
Chen issued a statement in support of her husband in July after he became another high-profile figure to been implicated in the #MeToo movement when The New Yorker's Ronan Farrow published an article detailing alleged sexual misconduct incidents involving the six women stretching back decades.
'I have known my husband, Leslie Moonves, since the late '90s, and I have been married to him for almost 14 years,' Chen wrote on Twitter, defending the father-of-four.
'Leslie is a good man and a loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader. He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being. I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement.'

Griffin continues by explaining her interest in replacing Craig Ferguson as the host of the Late Late Show in 2014 and asking her agents for a meeting with CBS.
Adding that her account is not a 'ding' at current host James Coden, Griffin said: 'My agents told me that Leslie wasn't going to consider any women for the spot. Yes, they met with a few women, but they weren't actually going to hire a woman is what I was told. Welcome to reality!'
Acknowledging Moonves exit from CBS, Griffin wrote: 'So Les Moonves is heading out of CBS...will anything change? Nope. People still remain silent and women are still blacklisted every day. I can promise you if I asked any number of people I know who are in entertainment and successful to speak out about Leslie they wouldn't!'
Griffin also claims she was told Moonves would never consider a woman to host The Late Late Show when she inquired about the gig
After the New Yorker piece came out, Moonves confessed to making 'uncomfortable advances' in the past but denied accusations that he assaulted or intimidated any women.
'Throughout my time at CBS, we have promoted a culture of respect and opportunity for all employees, and have consistently found success elevating women to top executive positions across our company,' he said in a statement at the time.
'I recognize that there were times decades ago when I may have made some women uncomfortable by making advances. Those were mistakes, and I regret them immensely.
'But I always understood and respected—and abided by the principle—that 'no' means 'no,' and I have never misused my position to harm or hinder anyone's career.
'This is a time when we all are appropriately focused on how we help improve our society, and we at CBS are committed to being part of the solution.'
Moonves, pictured with Chen at the Oscars in February, confessed to making 'uncomfortable advances' in the past but denied accusations that he assaulted or intimidated any women
Among the six women accusing Moonves are Emmy-nominated actress Illeana Douglas, who told The New Yorker that after signing a $300,000 first-look deal with CBS in 1996 she found herself fending off Moonves.
'In a millisecond, he's got one arm over me, pinning me,' said Douglas, who described the 'physicality' of the incident as horrendous.
Douglas said she eventually broke free from Moonves, but unable to function on set she found herself out of a job soon after and was replaced in the network's sitcom.
She told multiple people and got a lawyer, which resulted in CBS paying her $125,000 for her work on Queens and $250,000 to star in a television miniseries.
'I go from being sexually assaulted, fired for not having sex with Les Moonves, fired by everyone, to "We are going to pay you in full and we also want you to be on this miniseries",' Douglas said.
Janet Jones said that Moonves forced himself on her at a pitch meeting while producer Christine Peters said that she was delivering a presentation for a position at CBS Studio when the executive out his hand under her skirt, an accusation he 'categorically denies.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
