New York Fashion Week is well underway and with it, a long line of chic stars descending on the FROWs.
On Sunday it was heritage brand Escada's turn to host as they turned the catwalk into a racetrack for their S/S19 presentation.
Fans of the label were in attendance, with actresses Kate Bosworth and Nikki Reed leading the celeb crowd.

New York Fashion Week is in full swing and stalwart show attendee Kate Bosworth was looking her usual stylish self.
Stepping out to watch the Escada catwalk action, Kate wore a pretty polka-dot dress from the latest spring/summer '19 collection.
It first appeared on the runway in a pale pink hue but Kate managed to get her hands on the black version, which she teamed with a cool yellow clutch and classic pumps.

Kate looked super chic, choosing a gorgeous black and white polka dot number for the show.
The strapless dress showed off the stunning star's toned arms. Kate accessorised with classic black heels and added a pop of colour with her yellow clutch.
A bright pink lipstick added another bright hue, while the actress styled her blonde locks into loose waves.

Twilight's Nikki Reed also pulled out all the stops, choosing a double-breasted grey sit for her FROW fashion.
The star gathered her locks into a voluminous side sweep to add to the quirky vibe.
Escada's spring/summer extravaganza, presented Sunday in racetrack mode on a grass runway, is the second collection for global design director Niall Sloan, who left the British brand Hunter to join Escada in August 2017.

He was true to Escada's late '80s, early '90s heyday as he marked the company's 40th year with some contemporary twists in fabrics and loosened up silhouettes.
Escada founders Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley had just begun to build a brand when they photographed one of their early collections at a racetrack. They were taken by a high-energy horse named Escada in one of the stalls and decided that would be the name of their company.
Sloan knows heritage. Before Hunter, he designed for Burberry, particularly the high-end Prorsum, under the tutelage of Christopher Bailey. Prorsum is Latin for onwards. Sloan was listening.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
