«Breaking News» Kanye West wants social media companies to hide 'likes' and follower numbers in Twitter rant

He boasts over 28million followers on Twitter alone. 

But if Kanye West had his way, no one would ever know that, according to the rapper's tweets on Saturday.

'I personally want to participate in social media with the option of not having to show my followers or likes,' wrote the 41-year-old, in a tweet liked by nearly 10,000 people.

The Gold Digger hitmaker also wrote: 'Having your amount of likes on display for the world to see and judge is like showing how much money you have in the bank or having to write the size of your d**k on your t shirt'.

'There are people who are committing suicide due to not getting enough likes. Seeking validation in the simulation.'

'We need a live-streamed meeting with Jack Dorsey Kevin Systrom Mike Krieger Mark Zuckerberg and Evan Spiegal,' pleaded the husband of Kim Kardashian. 

With the text he included a screen grab of an article from tech blog Select All with the headline, 'Kanye West Is Finally Right About Something: Twitter Should Lose Its Metrics'.

Many fans commented that the slides were too big for West's feet.

And as part of Kanye's social media dump, the rapper posted several pictures that referenced his forthcoming album.

Three photos showed a familiar iPhone text bubble containing the words 'YANDHI 9 29 18'.

The words are apparently are reference to the release date of Kanye's new album, set for release on September 29.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
