Jamie Oliver is the UK's all time favourite chef, according to a new survey based on cookbook sales over the past 20 years.
The TV star, who found fame in 1999 for his first show The Naked Chef, has published 23 books - 19 of which have become bestsellers.
Father of five Jamie beat other major names including Nigella Lawson, who came second, former Bake Off judge Mary Berry, who was seventh, and Gordon Ramsay, who placed ninth, to the top spot.
The research was carried out by price comparison site Go Compare, which analysed the UK's best selling cookbooks between 1998 and today to uncover the nation's favourite chefs and cuisines.
Jamie has spent 18 years of his career in Amazon’s bestselling books chart so far, according to the study.

Go Compare's analysis of bestselling cookbooks also revealed that Brits favour fusion cuisine above all others, with British-inspired cookbooks the second most popular category and vegetarian or vegan in third place.
Diet and healthy eating emerged as the most popular culinary category from the analysis of Amazon's bestselling food and drink books.
Other familiar names in the list of the UK's most popular chefs include Delia Smith, in third place, the Hairy Bikers, in 13th place, and Lorraine Pascale in 14th.

The news comes after Jamie revealed last month that he was forced to pump £12.7million of his own money into his struggling restaurant business last year after being given two hours to save the chain.
In 2017, the Essex-born celebrity announced he was closing 12 of his 37 Jamie's Italian restaurants with 200 jobs affected, and his upmarket steak restaurant Barbecoa crashed into administration.
Speaking about the crisis, Jamie told the Financial Times Magazine: 'I had two hours to put money in and save it or the whole thing would go to s*** that day or the next day... It was as bad as that and as dramatic as that.'
He told the financial newspaper that his firm 'simply run out of cash' and raged at 'people supposed to manage that stuff'.
Jamie said Brexit was among the number to factors which caused a 'perfect storm' for the company, as well as rental costs, local government rates and the increase in the minimum wage.
Fellow celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay managed only ninth place in the list of the nation's most popular cooks, according to the research carried out by Go Compare

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
