«Breaking News» Is that you, Dave Hughes? The comedian shares an old photo showing an uncanny likeness

Comedian and radio presenter Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes certainly gets around - and if his latest Instagram post is to be believed, he also time travels.

Dave, 47, took to Instagram on Friday to show a black and white photo that fellow comedian Tony Martin saw at 'a Lithuanian Club'.

The picture, which looks a century old, shows a man with an uncanny resemblance to the radio host.

Dave captioned the photo: 'Tony Martin spotted this portrait of me at a Lithuanian Club and now believes I can time travel.'

His many followers posted hilarious comments on the photo, writing: 'That too with the almost high hair', 'Wow! Back to the future!', and 'Time to do a DNA test.'

'Vampire,' quipped another.

Dave stepped out for the Gold 92.5 Radio Station Buy A Bale Comedy Fundraising Night last week at the Miami Marketta in Queensland.

The funnyman was all smiles as he mingled with fellow comedian Akmal Saleh and a number of reality TV rejects at the fundraiser.

The 47-year-old showed off his silky grey locks and toothy grin backstage as he posed for photos.

'Did a gig for @buyabale with a bunch of legends on the Gold Coast tonight,' Dave wrote on Instagram after the show. 'Fun times.'

Also at the event were Married At First Sight's Ryan Gallagher and Ashley Irvin, The Bachelor's Heather Maltman and Bachelor In Paradise's Jake Ellis and Megan Marx.

Ryan, who has used his reality TV fame to launch a comedy career, was actually one of the performers that night.

However, after sharing an image from the fun-filled fundraiser to social media, Hughesy was trolled by fans who criticised his appearance.

One follower asked: 'Starting to look like a bit of a grandpa there, Hughesy? Your kids aging you a bit mate?'

Another simply observed: 'F**k. Hughesy got old.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
