Adjusting to life as a royal is no easy feat and apparently Meghan is having some trouble when it comes to members of Harry's inner circle due to her 'trendy lefty' views.
According to Lady Colin Campbell, who was a confidante of Princess Diana and still has close royal connections, Meghan's 'politics are an issue'.
Before her relationship with Harry became public, Meghan, 37, called out Donald Trump for being 'divisive' and misogynistic, vocally supported Hillary Clinton and revealed she opposed Brexit.
'She is ultra-liberal and that trendy-lefty stuff does not go down well with some of Harry’s friends,' she told The Daily Beast. 'He has introduced her to them all at parties and weddings and private dinners, but she is very anti- a lot of the things that their world functions upon, such as shooting.
'Everybody discovers after marrying into the royal family how solitary and arduous an existence it can be. Meghan has already begun to discover this.'
She added that the former Suits star may be better equipped than most to deal with the solitary side of royal life because of her past as an actress, saying that Princess Diana struggled.

Harry has naturally introduced his new wife to friends at dinner parties and weddings, but according to Lady Colin she's not been the most natural fit. Pictured: Meghan and Harry attending the wedding of Celia McCorquodale and George Woodhouse in June 2018
Since the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex said 'I do' to Prince Harry earlier this year, reports suggest that relationships she had in her pre-Harry days have fallen by the wayside as she struggles to know whom she can let in.
'Meghan has lost touch with some of her close friends from before the wedding, which has been tough,' a source told People earlier this month. 'She’s finding it hard to know who to trust.'

With so many leaks to tabloids — and her own family frequently talking to the press about her — it makes sense that she would limit her relationships to people who won't blab to news outlets as 'anonymous sources' with inside scoop.
These trustworthy friends include her makeup artist, Daniel Martin, and her stylist BFF Jessica Mulroney — whom she secretly flew out to in Toronto in August to visit.
'There's a small group of us that check in with her and see how she's doing, but she's still the same person,' Martin told People.
Being guarded is hardly new for members of the royal family. Earlier this year, royal observer Patricia Treble told Vanity Fair, 'You look at all the senior royals, and they’re incredibly careful about whom they’re friends with. They end up having lots of "acquaintances," or people who "know them."'
Reports suggest that Meghan has struggled to know who to trust since she married Prince Harry at Windsor back in May
Bitter: Her half-sister Samantha has also repeatedly attacked Meghan, and did so earlier this week on Prince Harry's birthday
Talking to reporters:But she's grown wary as people once close to her talk to the press — most notably her dad, Thomas
Another royal-watcher, Emily Nash, told the magazine that post-wedding, Meghan 'getting used to a more discreet social life . . . she is still going to be seeing and speaking to her most trusted friends just as before.'
Then there's her family. While her mother Doria Ragland is rumored to be making the move to the UK to be closer to her daughter, she's very publicly estranged from much of the rest of her flesh and blood.
Her dad, Thomas Markle, has continued to criticize her and her new husband to the press, while her half-sister makes rude remarks on social media.
New life: She's also kept her mom close. Doria Ragland - pictured with Meghan at Cliveden House the night before the royal wedding - is rumored to be moving to the UK to be closer to her
Staying in touch: Meghan's still close with her BFF Jessica Mulroney, who lives in Toronto, and she recently visited her
'It was very wearing on her. It’s her private life,' a source told People of the family scandal. 'The beginning of marriages are not that easy, but to have that impetus of your own family being disloyal is horrible and embarrassing.'
Samantha Markle has publicly hit out at Prince Harry again, this time likening him to a hamster on his 34th birthday.
The British royal was compared to the furry creature as Meghan Markle's half-sister tweeted an image of a ginger-haired pet tucking into a miniature cake while wearing a celebratory hat.
'Happy Birthday Harry! As you "Mack down" on your birthday cake, think about the birthday wishes you never extended to your FATHER-IN-LAW,' she posted on Twitter.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
