Boris Johnson's wife left him after finding out he'd bombarded his blonde Tory aide with playful text messages, it has been claimed.
Marina Wheeler, 54, learned of the ex-foreign secretary's close relationship with 30-year-old Carrie Symonds after their marriage hit the rocks earlier this year.
A source revealed Marina now fears her husband, also 54, had ten affairs during their 25-year marriage.

'To say she is angry doesn’t even come close. Marina discovered about Carrie after reading messages on his phone,' a source close to Marina told The Sunday Mirror.
'As the full truth of Boris’s behaviour became clear she told friends she wanted to cause maximum damage to him.
'If Boris thinks Marina will walk away from this quietly he is deluded. She is – and remains – furious.'

The former Foreign Secretary was said to have been caught texting Ms Symonds at all hours and once sent his car to pick her up at a wedding.
Colleagues first noticed Boris had eyes for the aide, 20 years his junior, when they attended the Tory annual Black and White fundraising ball in February.
'Their close friendship has been an open secret for several months now, we couldn’t help noticing the signs. They were there for all to see,' a party source told The Sun on Sunday.
'It’s fair to say they’ve grown incredibly close and there is a real bond of trust and friendship between them.'
Ms Symonds, the party’s former director of communications, was linked to the former Foreign Secretary after it was claimed that he had developed a ‘strong friendship’ with the blonde in the months leading up to his separation from wife Marina.
Ms Symonds, 30, has been a high-profile figure in Westminster for nearly a decade, holding senior positions at Tory HQ and as an adviser to Cabinet Ministers.
She regularly posts glamorous pictures of herself on social media, including one photograph of herself striking a pose while standing on the bonnet of a car in the grounds of Parliament.
Neither Mr Johnson nor Ms Symonds have commented on their friendship.
Ms Symonds, who attended leading private girls’ school Godolphin and Latymer in West London, became a Tory press officer in 2009. She worked on the successful ‘Back Boris’ campaign to re-elect Mr Johnson as London Mayor in 2012, and was appointed a special adviser to Culture Secretary John Whittingdale following the 2015 General Election. She also briefly advised Home Secretary Sajid Javid when he was Communities Secretary.
Gregarious Ms Symonds was appointed director of communications at Conservative Campaign Headquarters after last year’s disastrous Election, but left over the summer amid claims of rows with No 10 over her closeness to Mr Johnson’s camp. Her move to City news firm Bloomberg came after rumours about the friendship between Ms Symonds and Mr Johnson started swirling around Westminster. Friends of Ms Symonds say she felt she had been penalised for her links to ‘Team Boris’.
Tory HQ sources deny that her departure was anything to do with Mr Johnson, saying she left as part of a shake-up by Party Chairman Brandon Lewis designed to put the Conservatives on a war footing for the next General Election.
Ms Symonds has often written positive comments about Mr Johnson on Twitter, last year posting a link to a speech of his with the comment: ‘This is really worth watching. Boris absolutely brilliant in debate on Brexit and Foreign Policy earlier this week.’ And on Valentine’s Day this year she tweeted dozens of extracts from a speech he gave to a think-tank.

It was reported yesterday that Mr Johnson had been seen walking into Rules in Covent Garden, London’s oldest restaurant, on that day with a ‘young attractive’ blonde woman, then spending two hours at a corner table while a pair of bodyguards sat nearby.
One onlooker said: ‘It seemed quite an intimate meal and hardly anything to do with any great matters of the state. It was quite a strange day to be meeting a young attractive woman for a meal in one of London’s most exclusive restaurants.’
The identity of that woman has not been confirmed.
Just one week before the dinner, Ms Symonds and Mr Johnson were photographed together at the Conservatives’ fundraising Black and White Ball in London.
It was not until just before Mr Johnson dramatically quit the Cabinet in July that he is believed to have split up with his wife of 25 years, Marina Wheeler. The couple said in a joint statement on Friday: ‘Several months ago, after 25 years of marriage, we decided it was in our best interests to separate.
‘We have subsequently agreed to divorce and that process is under way. As friends we will continue to support our four children in the years ahead. We will not be commenting further.’
The couple had been living together in his £20 million grace-and-favour home in Carlton Gardens, the official residence of the Foreign Secretary, until the end of July. They jointly own a £4 million townhouse in Islington, North London, as well as a country home in Oxfordshire.
Mrs Wheeler is a successful QC while Mr Johnson has profited from writing several history books as well as his well-paid former jobs as Foreign Secretary and Mayor of London.

One opinion poll yesterday said that Mr Johnson’s marriage split could make it harder for the Tories to win the next Election. While 21 per cent of voters said they would be more likely to vote for the Tories with Mr Johnson as leader, 30 per cent said they would be less likely.
A friend of Mrs Wheeler’s told this newspaper yesterday: ‘I suspect the reason Marina has finally thrown in the towel is because the kids are old enough now and she probably just wants to be on her own. She may even be quite relieved.’
Leading Eurosceptic Jacob Rees-Mogg said the news of Mr Johnson’s marital separation was ‘obviously very sad news for him personally and for Marina’, but added: ‘I don’t think it makes any difference to the fine regard and admiration people in the Conservative party hold him in.’

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
