A woman who is being questioned in the disappearance of a New York father-of-two told police her boyfriend 'killed somebody' and made her help get rid of the body.
Authorities began questioning the woman and her boyfriend after Michael Stewart, 40, vanished on December 21.
The last text Stewart sent was a chilling message to his mother at 2am which read 'Please help me mom'.
Now police are treating his disappearance as a suspected homicide, with law enforcement sources revealing he may have been stabbed to death.

The couple being questioned by police had a 'relationship' with Stewart, although it remains unclear exactly what that relationship was.
'It was a relationship between the three of them that ended with [Stewart] stabbed up,' a law enforcement source told the New York Post.
The source said investigators are trying to 'flip the girl on the guy so they get one of them to admit to stabbing the victim to death'.

'They're trying to get them to admit where they dumped the body,' the source added.
The woman told police her boyfriend 'made me go with him to get rid of the body in New Jersey'.
Officers took the woman 'down to the Jersey Shore to search locations' for the body on Sunday, a retired NYPD sergeant who is familiar with the case told the Post.
The law enforcement source said the couple have not yet been arrested but that they're 'going to be charged eventually'.
A New York Police Department spokesman confirmed that two people are being questioned in regards to Stewart's disappearance and that 'they have not been allowed to leave'.
Stewart was last seen leaving O'Neill's Irish Pub in Staten Island around 6.30pm on December 20.
After he left the bar, surveillance footage captured Stewart arguing with two men outside a nearby barber shop.
The footage shows 'a slight altercation with people who entered the barber shop,' according to Jaclyn Tantao, a childhood friend of Stewart's.
At around 1.55am on December 21, he then sent the text message to his mother.

Tantao believes that Stewart got drunk and may have left the barber shop with the man he got into a fight with.
Stewart's family became worried after he never showed up to visit his two children - a four-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son - on Christmas.
'There's no way he would miss Christmas with his daughter,' Tantao said. 'He loves his daughter. They do everything together.'
'For him to not show up for Christmas or Christmas Eve was completely unheard of.'

Tantao said that Stewart's four-year-old daughter doesn't know any of the details regarding her father, but that she has been asking for him.
Stewart's aunt Roxanne said that the little girl has been crying for her father every night.
'She's starting to see that something's wrong,' Roxanne added.

The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

The last ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
