«Breaking News» Utah skier, 20, detained after throwing temper tantrum over full parking lot and attacking cop

A Utah skier has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted a policeman at a ski resort when learning that the parking lot was full. 

Nathan Harrison, 20, was charged with aggravated assault, disarming a police officer, failure to stop at the command of law enforcement, disorderly conduct, failure to obey signs and interfering with an officer. 

Officer Mark Curley with the Unified Police Department had been working on a 'secondary assignment' at Brighton Ski Resort on January 19, when the incident occured. 

Curley added that he was easily identifiable as an officer as well, FOX13 reports. 

The officer said that by 10am on that day, the ski resort was extremely crowded and had a full parking lot. Attendants were even turning vehicles away. 

As he approached the turning point, Harrison allegedly would not stop honking his horn.

When Curley asked Harrison why he was honking his phone, he appeared irate and claimed that 'he had a season pass to ski.' Harrison then demanded that he still be let inside. 

Harrison is currently being held at Salt Lake County Jail

But after Curley tried to explain that he would need to turn around, Harrison rolled up his window and continued driving towards the signs and cones blocking the road. 

He didn't stop until a parking attendant slapped his vehicle. 

The officer then opened Harrison's door and instructed him to turn around. Harrison is said to have then grabbed Curley, pulling him inside the vehicle. 

At this point, Curley yelled at Harrison to get out the car but the man was 'swinging his arms around' and repeatedly hitting the officer. 

Curley managed to pull Harrison out of the vehicle but the man was 'swinging closed fists' and 'screaming something unintelligible'. 

The officer said that he struggled restraining Harrison to the ground and added that he continued swinging at him. Curley delivered 'multiple distractions blows' to Harrison's jaw and face, to no avail.

When Curley was finally able to restrain Harrison, he allegedly tried to grab for the officer's gun. Witnesses confirmed that this happened. 

Harrison managed to also push Curley's head into snow, making it difficult for him to see and breathe. 

'I covered my firearm with one hand and was able to kick [Harrison] off of me,' Curley said in his report.

Curley eventually pulled his gun out and instructed the man to lie on the ground but Harrison chose to squat. 

Harrison was said to have continued struggling as backup came to assist in the arrest. 

He is currently being held at Salt Lake County Jail.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
