«Breaking News» Usher burglary suspect arrested

A man suspected of burgling Usher's $4.2million home back in March and taking $800k worth of property has reportedly been arrested. 

TMZ have reported that police suspect he has also stolen from other high-end homes as well.

The site writes: 'Police searched the suspect's home with a warrant and discovered more than 2,000 items valued at over $2 million, some of which included Usher's belongings.

'Other items belonging to a Real Housewives star were also discovered, but it's unclear for now which housewife it might've been.

'Cops learned the suspect had told family members he stumbled on his newfound wealth by doing well in the stock market.'

It is thought that the suspect would go to open houses at homes on the market to learn the layout of the place and then return to burgle it later.

They add that the suspect is not tied to burglaries from earlier in the year, in which Rihanna and Viola Davies' homes among others were targeted.  

MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Usher and the LAPD for comment. 

The musician's home in Los Angeles, was up for sale at the time of the break-in .

The mansion was equipped with security cameras, but the culprit stole the tape from inside the camera too.

Casa Usher: The property has five bedrooms, four full and two half bathrooms

The 4,261 square foot home sits on a hill above the Sunset Strip with five bedrooms, four full and two half bathrooms as well as a swimming pool.

The home was listed in March after Usher and his wife Grace Miguel announced they were separating. 

It was Miguel who filed a police report with the Los Angeles Police Department after her maid told her it looked as if the house had been broken into. 

She got the call on March 29, it was claimed.

The housekeeper had noticed 'a footprint on the second floor, a handprint on the pillow in the lower floor, and the curtains to the lower floor window were open' so she was worried the place had been illegally entered.

The housekeeper 'went to check the recording box where the security camera footage was kept and she noticed that the recording box was missing and connecting wires were cut,' Miguel told the police.

The maid also noticed that 'some jewelry' had been stolen.

That includes six watches with the most expensive one being valued at $220,000. 

A rose gold Jesus necklace worth $200,000 was also missing.

At first she just thought Usher had come by the house and taken the items, but then she asked him about it. 

She later discovered that cash was also missing from a 'box on the nightstand.'

The report states that there was approximately $20,000 in cash missing. 

Miguel also thinks that they burglars had taken the jewelry and cash, then came back later to get the security footage. She did not explain why she thought this.

'Miguel told police she believed the thief or thieves must have unlocked a window in the home during a recent open house,' the Blast also reported. 

At the time, the ex was asking the real estate agent for a list of people who had come to an open house at the property.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
