«Breaking News» State Department warns of 'exit bans' in China that could bar US citizens from leaving

A new travel warning update was issued by the State Department asking travelers to China to 'exercise increased caution.'

The US is specifically pointing 'to arbitrary enforcement of local laws as well as special restrictions on dual U.S.-Chinese nationals' by using 'exit bans' to restrict US citizens from leaving the country, sometimes even for years.

The Level 2 advisory is concerned with the possibility of China luring Chinese nationals and US citizens of Chinese descent to enter China in order 'to participate in Chinese government investigations' and 'aid Chinese authorities in resolving civil disputes in favor of Chinese parties.'

According to the warning, US citizens subject to the exit bans rarely know of the restriction until the moment they attempt to leave, and such citizens have been harassed, threatened and detained without access to consular services.

According to the State Department, US citizens only become aware of the 'exit bans' when they attempt to depart China

For 'US-Chinese citizens and US citizens of Chinese heritage', travelers may receive 'additional scrutiny and harassment', and may also be prevented from receiving consular services from the US Embassy.

The State Department advises anyone traveling to China, to enter the country on a U.S. passport with a valid Chinese visa and keep it on their person.

If arrested or detained, US travelers should ask police or prison officials immediately to notify the US Embassy or the nearest consulate.

China last month detained two Canadians, a former diplomat and a businessman, on charges of activities that 'endanger China's security.'

The move was widely seen as retaliation after Canada arrested an executive of telecom giant Huawei at the request of the United States, which said she violated Washington's sanctions on Iran.

China last year appeared to hit back at the US travel advice by issuing its own guidance to Chinese coming to the United States, warning of the risk of mass shootings and the high cost of health care.

Despite rising political friction, the two countries remain among the top sources of visitors to each other, with China by far the largest provider of foreign students to the United States.

A Level 1 advisory asks the 'Exercise of Normal Precautions.' Level 3 on the advisor rankings is 'Reconsider Travel' and the highest Level 4, 'Do Not Travel,' is reserved for nations in chaos like Yemen or Syria, or adversarial nations to the US like Iran or North Korea.

Link hienalouca.com Interesting to note Looking for an investor or sponsor for a project to grow dinosaurs and relict plants. Requires the sum of investments from 400000$ to 900000$. The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
