A contestant on SAS: Who Dares Wins has revealed his wife who was 'perfect in every single way' killed herself less than a year ago.

The heartbreaking revelation is set to be shared by Mark Peart, who is taking part in the Channel 4 series, to be aired on Sunday.

After struggling in one of the tasks the 32-year-old is brought in to face special forces soldiers Ant Middleton and Jason Fox in an interview- where he tells them the tragic story of his wife Chelsey's death, as reported by The Mirror.

Mark, 32, says: 'I lost my wife six months ago. She committed suicide.

'She was perfect in every single way. She was beautiful, she was funny, happy, honestly like the fairytale. But she just had these things that ate away on her - low self-esteem and anxieties.

'I'm still feeling lost with it and don't fully understand. I don't think I ever will.'

At the inquest, the coroner heard Mrs Peart was found hanging by her husband Mark at their home in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, on April 11.

In a statement which was read at Doncaster Coroner's Court by coroner's officer David Copley, Mr Peart said he was working a day shift at Manvers Fire Station on April 11.

He said: 'I arrived home at about 7.05pm and the house was in darkness. I discovered Chelsey.'

Mr Peart, a firefighter, attempted CPR until paramedics arrived but Chelsey was pronounced dead at the couple's home.

Mrs Peart, lived in Rotherham with her husband Mark, and taught at Rawmarsh Community School and also ran a textiles business

Mrs Peart, taught at Rawmarsh Community School and also ran a textiles business, was signed off work by her GP Dr Biing Hen on a number of occasions dating back to November 2017.

Helen O'Brien, headteacher at Rawmarsh Community School, described Mrs Peart as a 'positive role model for students' and a 'very, very talented textiles teacher'.

It is not the first time the popular show has revealed the tragic backstory of a contestant.

In the last series Danny Cross revealed his wife Nicola was killed as she tried to protect her children when a man broke into their Hertfordshire home in 2015.

The 40-year-old was forced off the show with a knee injury, but paid tribute to his children for helping him get through the tragedy. 

 He told the show's instructors at the time: 'I could have crumbled in that situation. I just had to keep going for the kids. I think that without them I would be in a very different place, I'm sure of it.

'Even though they miss mummy, they are happy kids.

'It gives you an inner power to know that you can cope and you can deal with things. Not a lot fazes me now.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
