«Breaking News» Sandra Oh, Andy Samberg: Bradley Cooper is only one that needs to believe in them, roast Lady Gaga

Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg took the helm hosting the Golden Globes, and while they weren't friends before being paired they quickly bonded and kept things light roasting Lady Gaga in the opener.

'It just proves there could be 100 people in the room, and 99 don't believe in you. You need just one, and that one's Bradley Cooper,' both Oh and Samberg' repeated in succession, as Gaga laughingly shouted 'It's true!'

The two dubbed themselves the 'nicest people in show business' before launching into the sweetest 'roast' of the crowd including Spike Lee, Jeff Bridges, Amy Adams and Michael B. Jordan.

'Amy, save some for the rest of us you mega-talented piece of dog crap!' Oh joked.

'Hey Jeff, I wish you were my dad,' Samberg added.

Oh said she wanted to make this award show lighter than last year's and the duo were careful to avoid politics, or even the Time's Up movement.

During last awards season, Hollywood was reeling from allegations against several powerful men in media, including Harvey Weinstein, Louis CK, and Matt Lauer, to name just a few.

Every show of last season had heavy undertones about sexual harassment in and outside of Hollywood, by both hosts, presenters and during interviews on the carpet as well.

The former Grey's Anatomy star previously said she wants to bring a lighter tone to the Golden Globes after last year's awards show took a much more serious approach centered on the #MeToo movement.

Oh said Thursday that she and fellow host Andy Samberg will provide a 'moment of joy' at the show.

Samberg and Oh got together to snap some photos for the waiting press and couldn't help but start cracking each other up.

The pair seemed to have great chemistry on the red carpet, though, before they headed in to helm the show.

Cameras snapped the first shots of the host as they stepped on the red carpet on Sunday before the live telecast.

Oh stunned in a sculptural white gown with an asymmetric neckline.

The simple A-line cut gathered in structured ruching over one shoulder creating an architectural ruffle over one shoulder.

A silver pair of ultra high strappy stilettos that featured a rhinestone encrusted platform completed the look.

The actress, who is also a nominee at the show, wore sparkling diamond earrings and an arm of silver bejeweled bangles.

Sandra went for classic Hollywood glam with her hair and makeup.

She donned a pop of color with a red lip and had her raven hair coiffed into a retro faux-bob by celebrity hair stylist Ted Gibson.

Joining her on the red carpet was her Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-host Andy Samberg.

The former SNL star rocked a classic tuxedo as he posed with his wife Joanna.

During the show, Oh ripped up the winner's envelope, and joked about the 2017 Oscars 'La La Land' slip-up before the duo pieced together the card and announced the actual winner.

Viewers can expect some zany moments between the two who described themselves as 'f***in' co-dependent soul mates,' in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

One thing people shouldn't expect is Trump bashing.

Since the former Apprentice host moved into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Hollywood award show hosts and winners have taken shots at the President but this year will be a bit different.

Both Samberg and Oh agreed that they weren't interesting in being too political.

‘It just proves there could be 100 people in the room, and 99 don’t believe in ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
