Emma Kelly, 26, left Colburn Primary School in North Yorkshire after a SATs scandal
A headmaster left his wife for a Year Six teacher before they were both sacked from their Primary school after a SATs exams 'scandal' left parents' furious.
Mike Watt, 40, left his wife of 15 years for teacher Emma Kelly, 26, whose class was the centre of an exams scandal last year.
Pupils at Colburn Primary School, near Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, had part of their SATs scores annulled after they were allegedly told they could ask for help after 'the SATs police' had left the room, reports the Sun.
This meant that the children, who were due to move up to secondary schools, had no exam results to take with them to show their writing ability.
One parent said father-of-two Mr Watt: 'took a very personal interest in the results in Miss Kelly's class, which is maybe not surprising since they had a personal interest in each other.'
Mr Watt, who had been Head at the school for eight years, was suspended from his £80,000 a year job after the scandal.
Miss Kelly started teaching at the school in 2016 also left. When she started at the school Miss Kelly was said to be in a long-term relationship with Chris Pattison.
The teachers are said to have now moved in together in Richmond, North Yorkshire, and are thought to be engaged.

Parents at the school were left frustrated after the SATs scandal but were pleased with the teachers leaving.
One parent, who didn't want to be named, told the Sun: 'The pair of them had to go and they won’t be missed.'
North Yorkshire County Council said it would work with local secondary schools 'to ensure that accurate and fair assessments of writing will take place' last summer, reports the BBC.
Angie Dale, Colburn’s chair of governors, said the SATs incident was 'upsetting' and that the school would be changing processes to ensure it didn't happen again.
She told RichmondshireToday: 'This is an upsetting development, but we are determined to continue to take appropriate actions and change processes in school to ensure the integrity of future assessments.'
Colburn Primary School is rated Good by Ofsted and has eight classes as well as a 52 place Nursery.
Both teachers have since left Colburn Primary School and are said to be living together in Richmond, North Yorkshire

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
