Doctor Who kicked off 2019 in style with its New Year’s Day Special, which saw the long-awaited return of The Daleks in a Venom-esque tale.
As the Doctor and her best friends encounter a Dalek rogue from its shell, a dramatic hour ensues as they desperately try to stop it from invading the Earth for 1000th time.
Of course Jodie Whittaker’s Time Lady stole the show with a brand new addition to her ensemble, donning a striped scarf that will remind many die-hard fans of Tom Baker’s Four.

As the show’s only episode for 2019, Who had a lot to live up to, especially with the Daleks first appearance since 2015.
Surprisingly the show decided to return to the threat of the singular robot over the mass Dalek army, again reminding many of a certain 2005 episode.
In some ways the episode was a combination of the above episode and Daleks in Manhattan - which starred a pre-Spiderman Andrew Garfield - as the Squid-like creature appeared more than it’s well-known robot entity.
The episode began with a tale of how a sinister threat was defeated in the 9th Century, and after being cut into three pieces, the remnants were buried and guarded across the world.

Fast Forward to the modern day, and a pair of archaeologists Lin and Mitch (played by Call The Midwife’s Charlotte Ritchie and Nikesh Patel) discover one part of the dismembered alien, and thanks to a spot of UV light it is soon brought back to life.
What follows is the combination of Venom and Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, as Lyn is taken over by the squid Dalek, sending her on a quest to build a new shell.
Meanwhile The Doctor and her fam are tracking the Dalek, but Ryan is suffering problems closer to home.

After years of no contact, his dad Aaron has come back into his life, and inevitably things are tense between the pair.
The episode even managed to take a cheeky swipe at Brexit, after it is revealed that UNIT has been suspended due to a lack of funding, in a funny scene that any a customer service will relate to.
After the Dalek manages to enter its shell - as Lyn furiously fights him off - the episode pace increases ten-fold, as they have to stuff all of the resolution into the final quarter.

The Dalek even shuts down the entire of Great Britain’s *gasp* internet, sparking a hilarious scene when a family admit they need to have a conversation, on New Year’s Day when the shops are shut and everyone is hungover.
Thanks to a bit of Doctor know-how - and a microwave - the fam manage to blow up the Daleks casing, only for him to then latch himself onto Aaron.
This leads to the explosive climax, when the Dalek/Aaron is lured into the TARDIS and a supernova tries to suck the squid out, and as Ryan fights to save his dad he finally confesses that he forgives him.
It wraps up the episode - and 2019 for Who - in a neat bow as the gang return to the vortex for yet more adventures, and it remains to be seen when - or if - the Daleks will be back.
Doctor Who returns to BBC One in early 2020.

Link hienalouca.com Interesting to note Looking for an investor or sponsor for a project to grow dinosaurs and relict plants. Requires the sum of investments from 400000$ to 900000$. The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
