«Breaking News» Charli Howard poses in lingerie for saucy Agent Provocateur campaign

Curvy model Charli Howard has landed herself in a image-positive lingerie campaign ahead of Valentine's Day — which included a love letter she wrote to her body promising to 'love you, flaws and all,'

The London-born model, 27, stunned in the Agent Provocateur campaign while lounging among pink and red backdrops in lingerie that shows off her curves.

This year's campaign from the lingerie brand twisted the idea of Valentine's Day from being about love between lovers to instead embracing loving oneself.

Self-love: The idea behind the new lingerie campaign was to promote self-acceptance for Valentine's Day instead of love with a lover

'I hope this proves to all you women out there that you that you don’t have to be rail thin to feel sexy in lingerie, or even to become a model if that’s your goal,' Charli wrote in an Instagram post while sharing images from the new campaign.

The New York City-based model first shot to fame in 2015 when she was famously fired by an unnamed modeling agency over 'unobtainable beauty standards'.

At the time, she shared her upset and anger with her Facebook followers, writing: 'Here's a big F**K YOU to my (now ex) model agency for saying that at 5ft 8in tall and a UK size 6-8, I'm "too big" and 'out of shape' to work in the fashion industry.'

Unsurprisingly the post quickly went viral, and since then Charli has been an outspoken advocate for body positivity, while speaking out against the pressures that are placed on young people working in the fashion industry.

Charli now uses her platform online to celebrate and embrace women's natural bodies, flaws and all, and in her love letter to her own body, she describes the journey she took in order to reach a place where she feels happy in her own skin.

'This Valentine’s Day, we’re encouraging you to write a love letter to yourself & celebrate the things that make you "you",' Charli wrote.

'Show yourself some love & wear lingerie that makes you feel sexy and empowered, regardless of whether you’ve got a partner or not. After all, loving yourself starts from within.'

In a love letter to herself as part of the campaign, Charli admitted to previously hating her body and thinking her 'curves were shameful.'

She wrote: 'Our relationship in the past has been complicated. I spent years comparing you to numerous women I will never be, and against bodies I will never have. I based my values on what other people thought of me or saw in me, seeking their approval before I sought my own.'

The model went on to describe her disdain for her curves and her stretch marks, which led her to never thinking she would be enough, writing: 'My curves were shameful; my stretch marks hideous.'

In her memoir, Misfit, which was published last year, Charli opened up about the eating disorders that she suffered for twenty years - and the often-crippling anxiety that went with them.

She reveals that nobody was aware that she was throwing up her meals, and in the book she refers to her OCD, depression, anxiety and eating disorders as 'sexy illnesses' because their outcomes are displayed in glossy magazines.

After all those years in the modeling industry however, Charli finally learned to embrace her natural body and proudly flaunt the curves - and now that she has reached this stage, she is determined to give her body the same love that it gave her through all those years.

'You never gave up on me throughout all the times I was ready to give up on you.,' she wrote.

'So this is a promise — a promise to love you, flaws and all, and make up for the years I didn't realize your worth.

'And while my skin might not be the smoothest, or my hips the smallest, you've taught me what I needed to know. I am enough.'

As the face of the Agent Provocateur campaign, Charli emanated confidence and self-love for her body that she wanted to spread to other women.

'For me, Valentine’s Day is a time to champion who you are as a woman and show yourself some love — as well as wearing gorgeous lingerie that makes you feel sexy from the inside out,' Charli said.

'Agent Provocateur has always celebrated women and their sexuality and this campaign is merely a reminder to celebrate your body every day.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
