«Breaking News» 4x4 driver plows into group of fleeing teenagers in Portland

Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver who tried to mow down a group of teenagers after chasing them onto the sidewalk with his pickup truck. 

The shocking footage shows the group trying to flee when they notice the SUV coming down the street.

The truck then hits one of the boys, but the rest scatter and manage to escape.  

The driver then pulls a U-turn in the park at the end of the street and drives off.  

The incident happened in north east Portland last week and was captured by a homeowner's CCTV camera.

The truck drove onto the sidewalk before hitting one of the young men 

The video shows the man bounce off the side of the truck and fly into the air 

Amazingly, the teen who was knocked down is able to stand up after the incident and was able to run off unaided. 

One of his friends then ran into a park bench and also fell over, before running off. 

Local resident Javier Gonzales recorded the incident and passed the footage over to police. 

He told Koin.com: ' I looked at it, I rewinded it a few times just out of shock. I mean I've seen a lot of trucks like that. They are super common.  

'It really seems like the cameras are the only thing that caught this and the people that actually got hit and the person in the truck. 

 It's horrible thing that happened but the timing was actually pretty good just that we didn't have any kids out here.'  

Police told DailyMail.com they are aware of the video and investigating the incident although none of the victims have reported a crime.  

Amazingly, the man, left, manages to clamber back to his feet, while is friend, right, runs straight into a park bench

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
