You can now transform your Segway into a steerable go-kart. Ninebot, the parent company of Segway, is expected to roll out a kit that attaches to its hoverboard model, the miniPro
But don't expect the go-kart to go as fast as others that are on the market.
Riders can choose from three different speed modes: 'Newcomer,' 'Common' and 'Sports' mode.
In Newcomer mode, the go-kart hits a max speed of just under 5mph, while Common mode lets riders go up to 12mph.
Speed demons can elect 'Sports mode,' which lets them hit a top speed of 15mph.
'When it comes to performance, the Segway-Ninebot Electric Gokart seeks vehicle benchmarks beyond gokarts,' Ninebot explained.
'The Gokart can sprint from 0 to 12mph within seconds, which matches or even outpaces the acceleration of many automobiles on the market that are well known for their outstanding performance.'
It can carry a payload of up to 250lbs and the steering wheel and seat can be adjusted based on the rider's height - making way for the device to be used by both parents and kids alike.

The go-kart's speed can be adjusted via a companion app, which also keeps track of the vehicle's range, as well as helpful user guides.
The electric drifting vehicle has a range of about 9 miles, according to Ninebot.

'The Ninebot Gokart Kit is one of the most unique accessories we've ever released,' Ninebot's website reads.
'By attaching your miniPRO base to the kit you're able to enjoy a fully-functional gokart, able to reach top speeds of up to 15 MPH.'
Early bird buyers of the go-kart can purchase it on the Ninebot's Indiegogo campaign, which lists the device as being $1,149. That's a bump up from the miniPro, which is priced at $1,000

The miniPro is a miniature version of the original, upright Segway, that's similar to a hoverboard, but adds a padded steering stick in the middle of the device to allow for easier maneuvering.
Segway first revealed the miniPro in 2016, but now appears to opening it up for new modes of transportation.

The launch of the go-kart comes a few months after Segway released a pair of self-balancing e-skates.
In July, Segway unveiled the Drift W1, a pair of e-skates that uses the same balancing technology used in the firm's original devices.
The pair of self-balancing skates use the same stabilising technology as the famous two-wheeled Segway transporter to keep riders upright as they move.
Unlike traditional roller skates, riders only need to lean forwards or backwards to move the Drift W1, which are not physically attached to the users' feet to make it easy to jump on or off.
'The tires are designed to improve stability and steering capabilities, and, combined with the high-quality materials including slip-resistance on foot mats, the product is designed for maximum comfort and fun,' Segway wrote.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
