«Breaking News» Anti-Kavanaugh advert compares judge to Bill Clinton and Bill Cosby

A new attack ad comparing Brett Kavanaugh to Bill Clinton and Bill Cosby has been launched by the American Civil Liberties Union.

The 30 second clip points out that Clinton and Cosby both vehemently denied sex claims against them before they were found to be lying.

It is part of a million-dollar effort by the nonprofit to persuade wavering senators not to back Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court amid sexual assault claims by three women.

The advert also features images of former NBC anchor Matt Lauer, former Miramax head Harvey Weinstein, and former 60 Minutes presenter Charlie Rose - who were all unseated from their positions amid sex scandals.

Bill Clinton is then shown delivering the line that would see him impeached - 'I did not have sexual relations with that woman' - over his affair with Monika Lewinsky.

Cosby is also featured, saying 'I have never seen anything like this' in relation to Andrea Constand, who accused the TV star of drugging and sexually assaulting her at his house in 2004.

Cosby was found guilty of that crime last week and sentenced to between three and 10 years in jail.

Kavanaugh is then shown during his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, in which he says: 'I categorically and unequivocally deny the allegation against me by Dr Ford.'

A voice over says: 'As we chose a lifetime seat on our highest court, integrity matters, and we cannot have any doubt.'

The adverts then call out Senators Cory Gardner of Colorado, Deb Fischer of Nebraska, Shelley Moore Capito and Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Alaska's Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan, asking them to vote 'no' on Kavanaugh.

Christine Blasey Ford, a professor who accuses Kavanaugh of attempting to rape her in the 1980s, testified about the alleged attack in front of senators last week.

She claimed that Kavanaugh had drunkenly tried to remove her clothes then put his hand over her mouth when she tried to call out, putting her in fear of his life.

Kavanaugh then vociferously denied her claims, saying she was 'mistaken' about the identity of her attacker.

He has also denied claims by two other women - Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick - who claim he exposed herself to him at a party and behaved inappropriately towards women at parties, respectively.

His nomination has been paused for a week while the FBI conducts a background check, including interviewing Ramirez, though it is not though that agents will speak with Swetnick.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
