Victoria Beckham’s dream of making a comeback with the Spice Girls has been kiboshed by the investors behind her fashion business – because they insist it would ‘cheapen’ her brand.

I can reveal that Posh was hoping to join her former bandmates for their lucrative return to the stage in an attempt to relive the happy memories she shared with them – as well as a substantial cut of the earnings.

However, sources say equity firm NEO Investment Partners, who ploughed £30 million into her company last November, have told her that it would be counter productive to her luxury fashion business, Victoria Beckham Limited.

I understand her investors are nervous that a return to Spice Girl mode for Victoria could see her ridiculed for her singing.

Victoria, 44 – who has admitted she is not a talented singer – has now left the other girls irritated after having to break the news that she won’t be taking part.

It’s also bad news for music mogul Simon Fuller, 58, who has been masterminding the multi-million-pound project since last year.

Fuller is also a major shareholder in Victoria’s fashion business and has even given her space in his London offices to house the business and its employees. My source revealed: ‘Victoria has really happy memories of her time in the Spice Girls. She was globally famous and having the time of her life. It was also, of course, when she met David and they fell madly in love.

‘After years of refusing to take part, she changed her mind when Simon Fuller put the idea again. He has been loyal to her so she agreed to meet the other girls.

NEO Investment Partners piled the cash in last year after it emerged that Victoria’s business had lost £8.4 million in 2016.

Despite Posh’s firm refusal, I hear the other girls are not giving up on trying to persuade her.

While Melanie Brown, 43, has been told to stay away as they fear her ‘bolshiness’ wouldn’t help matters, Emma Bunton, 42, Melanie Chisholm, 44, and Geri Horner, 46, are all apparently ‘on her case’ to talk Victoria round.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
