President Trump claimed at a United Nations Security Council meeting Wednesday that the Chinese are engaged in an active measures to disrupt the 2018 elections in retaliation for his hard-hitting tariffs.
Trump boldly accused China of working 'against my administration' to oust Republicans this fall as a tactic to evade punishing trade actions.
'They do not want me, or us, to win, because I am the first president ever to challenge China on trade,' he declared. 'And we are winning on trade. We are winning at every level. We don't want them to meddle or interfere in our upcoming election.'

Trump smacked around Russia during the meeting for aiding and abetting Syria. It was China and the government of Xi Jinping (left) whom he said is leading an election meddling effort though
Trump did not provide evidence in the speech for his claim that China is meddling in the U.S. election, but it followed an ad buy in a major U.S. paper located in a top agricultural hub by Chinese state media that pushed an anti-tariff line.
A four-page inset purchased by China Daily branded as a 'China Watch' section appeared in the Des Moines Register on Sunday. Experts say it was explicitly intended to undermine Trump.
Trump made a more pointed reference to the ad buy in a tweet after he closed up shop at the United Nations that said: 'China is actually placing propaganda ads in the Des Moines Register and other papers, made to look like news.
'That’s because we are beating them on Trade, opening markets, and the farmers will make a fortune when this is over!' he asserted.
He told a reporter who challenged him on the claim that there's 'plenty of evidence' that China is interfering in the American electoral process without saying what it was.
The White House did not provide examples, either, in a hastily scheduled call on 'Chinese interference' on Wednesday afternoon with a senior administration official.
The aide said that the influence campaign goes beyond U.S. elections to the media that can and cannot be consumed. The person noted that American films with content the Chinese government doesn't approve of are commonly blacklisted. Journalists from American media outlets who are critical of China often have trouble renewing visas and are sometimes booted out.
The U.S. president swung out at China more aggressively at the Security Council meeting that he called to discuss nuclear non-proliferation efforts.
In the middle of his remarks he delved into trade, however, railing against Xi Jinping's government for election interference.
'Regrettably, we found that China has been attempting to interfere in our upcoming 2018 election coming up in November against my administration. They do not want me, or us, to win because I am the first president ever to challenge China on trade,' he assessed.
Trump made the charged claim with members of the Chinese delegation, including Foreign Minister Wang Yi, sitting three seats down. Like the U.S., China has a permanent seat on the U.N. Security Council.
Wang denied that his country would interfere in any other nation's domestic affairs. He called Trump's claims an 'unwarranted accusation'
Xi did not attend the United Nations General Assembly this year, providing the perfect opportunity for Trump to declare a trade triumph and rail against China for other alleged abuses like currency manipulation and intellectual property theft.
The U.S. president said Tuesday in speech before the entire U.N. body that the U.S. would no longer be content to be taken advantage of by nations with closed off economies.

Trump did not provide evidence in the speech for his claim that China is meddling in the U.S. election, but it followed an ad buy in a major U.S. paper located in a top agricultural hub by Chinese state media that pushed an anti-tariff line. He pointed to the ad buy later in a tweet
'Those days are over. We will no longer tolerate such abuse,' Trump said. 'We will not allow our workers to be victimized, our companies to be cheated, and our wealth to be plundered and transferred. America will never apologize for protecting its citizens.'
Trump had pulled back on his verbal assault against China his first year in office after receiving assurances from Xi that he would assist the U.S. in managing the threat of a nuclear North Korea.
When it appeared that Xi was playing puppet master behind the scenes and advising Kim Jong-un, his closest ally, to yank around the U.S. this summer, Trump's opinion began to turn.
He said ahead of his June summit with Kim that he considers Xi a friend but worries that he's giving the North Korean dictator unhelpful advice.
Trump began moving, at the same time, to correct the trade imbalances with China he'd promised to take on in his presidential campaign but set aside while he was building a security alliance with Xi.
After threatening billions of tariffs against Chinese goods from nearly every sector, Trump hit Beijing with upward of $50 and then $250 billion fees on Chinese exports. His administration said there would be more to come if China matched the tariffs dollar-for-dollar.
By the time that Trump arrived at the United Nations he was entangled in a full-on trade war with the communist nation that he says is now waging a campaign against him of disinformation.
This summer Trump conceded that Russia was looking to meddle in the 2018 elections but
I’m very concerned that Russia will be fighting very hard to have an impact on the upcoming Election. Based on the fact that no President has been tougher on Russia than me, they will be pushing very hard for the Democrats. They definitely don’t want Trump!

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
