Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria has described the distance between her and Princess Madeleine as 'awful' following her younger sister's move to the States.
Madeleine, the youngest daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf, swapped Sweden for Florida earlier this summer with her young family - leaving siblings Victoria and Carl Philip behind.
And speaking at the UN headquarters during a trip to New York City this week, her big sister described her departure as 'awful' according to Royal Central.
When asked whether she had managed to visit Madeleine during her trip, Victoria replied: 'I wish! It would have been great fun to meet both her and her family, but it may be another time.'

Madeleine, 36, relocated to the sunshine state alongside husband Chris O'Neill, 44, and their children Princess Leonore, four, Prince Nicolas, three, and Princess Adrienne, six months.
In a press release in August, the couple explained: 'The time and opportunity for the United States is good for the family when the children are still in pre-school age.
Madeleine, who is the seventh in line to the Swedish throne, will continue her work with the World Childhood Foundation.
'Princess Madeleine has a great commitment to children's rights and will continue working with the World Childhood Foundation and, through the move, be able to focus more on the activities in the United States,' the Swedish Royal Court added.
Along with the announcement about their planned move, the Royal Court also released a new family portrait showing the happy couple posing with their three children.

The royal's financier husband was born in London and has dual U.K. and U.S. citizenship. He has previously been working in the United States but will continue his business in Europe as well.
Madeleine - whose official title is Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland - was living in New York City when she first met Chris, having famously fled to America in 2010 to escape a broken heart after her split from Swedish attorney Jonas Bergstrom.
The couple then continued to live in the Big Apple even after they married in Stockholm in the Royal Palace chapel in June 2013, and the couple's first child, Princess Leonore, was born in New York in 2014.
In recent years, the family has called London home - but Madeleine and Chris chose to temporarily move back to Sweden for the birth of their third child, Princess Adrienne, in March this year.
Adrienne was christened in Stockholm in a lavish ceremony on June 8, the day of her parents' fifth wedding anniversary.
Princess Madeleine and her husband also previously owned property in Palm Beach; however, they sold the five-bedroom holiday to a limited liability company in August for $3.65 million (£2.77 million).
It is not known whether the family has purchased another home in the area, or whether they will choose to look further afield before settling on their future hometown.
Madeleine is the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and his wife Queen Silvia, 74, his German-Brazilian consort; she has two older siblings - Crown Princess Victoria, and Prince Carl-Philip.
The royal family, whose role is largely ceremonial, remains popular in Sweden and the monarchy enjoys widespread support despite the egalitarianism that otherwise characterises society in the Nordic country.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
