«Breaking News» 'Spokane Subaru Thief,' admits to stealing more than 100 vehicles

A 19-year-old Washington man who made a name for himself by stealing more than 100 Subarus has spoken out about the crimes in a new jailhouse confessional.

Christian Normand was dubbed the 'Spokane Subaru Thief' after he made a hobby of motor vehicle theft since the age of 16.

Normand said in his confessional this week he loved 'the feeling of possibly getting caught or the rush of doing something' he knew he shouldn't be, he told KULR8.

The teen broke into the older-model vehicles with broken pieces of a metal rake.

The older models have weaker key holes which allow people to 'bypass both the door locks and the ignition using an unusual technique,' the news station reported from the confessional.

Normand said: 'I just kind of heard about the rake thing one day and I didn't believe it, but then I ended up trying it.

'At first, I couldn't figure it out... it was hard, but I figured it out.'

The brazen teen and his pals were arrested two weeks ago when police tracked them down in one of the stolen Subarus that had a GPS tracker placed inside beforehand.

The teen previously was jailed for the crimes - but released in July, before he was arrested again this month.

Spokane Police Captain Brad Arleth warned owners of older-model Subarus to change their locks.

'If you have a vehicle of that age, change your ignition out, change your door lock out,' Arleth said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
