Fulham's Serbian manager Slavisa Jokanovic did his bit for young English players by throwing 18-year-old Ryan Sessegnon in the deep end at The Etihad Stadium, saying the experience will be a 'huge benefit' to the teenager's development.
Jokanovic championed Sessegnon's inclusion in England's World Cup squad and though he hasn't played the youngster in every Premier League so far, he selected him at left back at The Etihad where he had the stern test of stopping Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Kyle Walker.
Sessegnon was not entirely successful with two of City's goals in a 3-0 win developing on his side. But Jokanovic had no regrets about the selection which followed England manager Gareth Southgate's complaints not enough homegrown players were involved in Premier League games.

Slavisa Jokanovic said the experience will be a 'huge benefit' to the teenager's development
'It's a huge benefit for this kind of player. He has played a hundred games in The Championship and I thought he could have gone to the World Cup. Now it is time to play games in places like this.
'He is not a kid and part of his profession is to win, draw or lose matches. When I analyse the game, I think Ryan played well. He might have been stronger in both sides (attacking and defending), maybe he was a little bit shy.
'But he was satisfied and happy to participate in the game and I think it's very good for his development.'
Sessegnon turned 18 in May and is 10 days older than City's own prospect Phil Foden, who was an unused substitute. The Fulham defender has long attracted interest from Spurs but chose to stay at Craven Cottage after they won promotion to the Premier League last season.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
