«Breaking News» Long weekend horror as two women and unborn twins are killed in shocking head-on crash 

A horror head-on collision has killed two women and a set of unborn twins and left two men in a critical condition, marking a tragic beginning to the October long weekend.


The 17-year-old L-Plate driver and her 23-year-old rear passenger, who was heavily pregnant with twins, died at the scene after their hatchback collided with a car travelling north on a New South Wales highway.


The Nissan was travelling north on Northern Road in Orchard Hills in Sydney's west when it collided with a Mazda travelling in the opposite direction at 7.40pm on Friday. 



One of the males involved in the crash was moved to Westmead Hospital and is believed to be in an induced coma from a traumatic head injury,

Emergency services attempted to revive the driver and her rear passenger but both women and the unborn babies died at the scene.


The 25-year-old male front passenger, was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.


The 29-year-old driver of the Mazda was trapped for a short time and moved to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition with leg injuries, he is also under police guard. 

It is believed the male driver sped over the median strip and ploughed in to the Nissan, Nine has reported. 


Police are now investigating whether the man was speeding before the tragic accident. 


A witness to the accident, Jarrad Sherlock said he noticed the Mazda driving erratically before is crashed in to the Nissan. 


'He came flying past me in the left hand lane, going about 100 kilometres in a 60 km/h roadworks zone,' he said.

'There were so many cars on the road and he was ducking and weaving between cars. I said to my girlfriend "what is this guy doing, he is going to crash",' he told the Daily Telegraph.  


Just moments later the car veered on to the other side of the road and crashed in to the Nissan. 


'I jumped out and ran over and tried to see if anyone was alive. Another guy ran to the Nissan and I went to the Mazda.


'He was alive but unconscious. I ran to the other car, I saw a lady in the back seat but she had already passed away.' 


Both the green and black hatchbacks were beyond recognition when police and paramedics arrived at the horror scene. 


Debris from the crash was strewn across both lanes of the major motorway in Orchid Hills. 


Two other vehicles were hit in the crash but the occupants in each car came out unscathed. 


A crime scene has been established on the stretch of highway and an investigation is underway to what caused the accident. 


Police are calling for any witness' to the accident to step forward.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
