Hugo Lloris is in line to be fined £300,000 — the equivalent of two weeks' wages — by his club after the Tottenham captain pleaded guilty to drink-driving, with striking details revealed in court.
The World Cup-winning goalkeeper was arrested and charged in the early hours of August 20, following a night out in Mayfair with compatriots Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud.
At Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, it was revealed that Lloris ran a red light and the police officers who pulled him over found vomit inside his Porsche.

The court was told that Lloris had ran a red light and that he was unable to stand up properly
Lloris, who earns £150,000 a week at Spurs, was fined £50,000 by the court and banned from driving for 20 months after admitting to drink-driving at twice the legal limit.
His speech was also said to be slurred and the shot-stopper was unable to stand up properly.
As is protocol with Premier League clubs, Tottenham are now set to fine him two weeks' wages. As a result of showing contrition after being arrested and charged, he is set to keep his captaincy.
Lloris was believed to have spent the evening with Koscielny of Arsenal and Chelsea striker Giroud at Bagatelle in Mayfair, a plush club-restaurant.
He was then taken to Charing Cross police station after being arrested, spending seven hours in custody before being formally charged.

Tottenham were left understandably furious as they were preparing for their Premier League clash with Manchester United. Lloris still started and surprisingly wore the captain's armband.
What helped was the Frenchman's public show of remorse after being arrested as he said in a statement: 'I wish to apologise wholeheartedly to my family, the club, my team-mates, the manager and all of the supporters.
'Drink-driving is completely unacceptable, I take full responsibility for my actions and it is not the example I wish to set.'
Lloris is known to be immensely popular inside the Spurs changing room. The decision over his captaincy was down to manager Mauricio Pochettino.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
