England lost their opening Nations League game against Spain at Wembley on Saturday night.
It was a disappointing night for Gareth Southgate's side but there was plenty to talk about despite the 2-1 loss.

Continuing where the England stars left off at World Cup, spirits were high with a sense of camaraderie and mischief at the forefront of their success. With some new players joining the camp, Kyle Walker took it upon himself to welcome James Tarkowski to the squad the best way he knew how.
Ahead of the clash with Spain, the Three Lions star strolled out to inspect the Wembley pitch. Walker stealthily separated himself from the group to grab a sprinkler and catch an unwitting Tarkowski with it - soaking his grey tracksuit.
Neither defender managed to get off the bench in England's 2-1 loss by Spain.

World Cup icon discarded by England boss
Gareth Southgate's waistcoat earned cult status during its run throughout World Cup. It spawned a number of Twitter accounts and petitions to have 'It's Coming Home' versions created during a memorable campaign. And there is a replica of the actual one Southgate wore in Russia at the National Football Museum.
Despite the chill in the air in London on Saturday night, the England boss opted to go without his iconic piece of fashion and not many were happy, notably Gary Lineker.
Could England have won their match against Spain had he opted to wear it? We'll never know.
England fans boo Sergio Ramos at Wembley
Sergio Ramos revels in his role as a pantomime villain. At the pre-match press conference he was told there was a chance England fans could boo him and his response could not have been more clear. The Spain defender said he was unconcerned about a negative reaction.
From the moment his name was read out to every time he touched the ball, Ramos was booed by the England fans. Following his clash with Mohamed Salah in the Champions League final, Ramos won few friends in Liverpool. However, England fans seem to have forgotten that Salah plays IN England, not FOR England.
Even the sprinklers at Wembley had a go at Ramos. The vitriol only fuels this footballing legend's power, and in the end, as he captained his side to victory, Ramos once again had the last laugh.

Jose Mourinho instantly becomes a meme after Marcus Rashford opener
England got off to a flying start in their opening Nations League match against Spain. It took them just 11 minutes to open the scoring against the visitors. Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford finished off a brilliant team move. It was the first England goal since 2012 that was both scored and assisted by two Manchester United players.
The two combined under the watchful eye of their boss Jose Mourinho, who was caught on camera pursing his lips and nodding his head in approval as he focused on his mobile phone. While fans on Twitter were quick to point out the Portuguese’s delight at England’s goal being ‘Made in Manchester’, they seemed to overlook that it came at the expense of David de Gea.
After a bright performance and outstanding assist, Shaw’s evening was cut short after a horror clash with Dani Carvajal. He had to be given oxygen pitchside as he was taken off on a stretcher.

Is Jose Mourinho slowly becoming his greatest enemy?
Jose Mourinho found himself in a slippery situation ahead of England’s clash with Spain. Despite being one of the few people who did not find themselves at the centre of the sprinkler hi-jinks at Wembley on Saturday night, Mourinho couldn’t quite get to grips with the ground beneath him.
Outside of the entrance, Mourinho took a fall in front of a number of onlookers. Unfortunately for the Manchester United boss, one of those fans was a Chelsea fan Twitter account with a large fanbase. Needless to say it did not take long for those photos to make their way across social media.
Adding insult to injury, Mourinho’s fall was not dissimilar to Arsene Wenger’s in 2014. The former Arsenal boss took a tumble at Liverpool’s Lime Street station. The only notable exception being that those on hand were quick to help Wenger back to his feet.

Marcos Alonso keeping up family traditions
After going from strength to strength at Chelsea, Marcos Alonso was handed his competitive debut for Spain by new boss Luis Enrique. He lined up alongside former teammate Rodrigo. The last time the pair started together was January 2011 where they starred in a 2-0 win for Bolton against York City.
This was just the second time ever that Spain had won a match at Wembley and both victories featured a Marcos Alonso in the side. The Chelsea defender’s father, Marcos, also made his national team debut against England, in Spain’s only other victory at Wembley. He is the first Spain international to have both father and grandfather to have featured in the national side before him.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
