«Breaking News» Freida Pinto and her Love Sonia co-stars Mrunal Thakur and Richa Chadda shine at the premiere

Ten years after Slumdog Millionaire made her a global star, Freida Pinto returned to her hometown of Mumbai, India for the premiere of her new film Love Sonia.

The Indian actress hit the red carpet with her co-stars Mrunal Thakur and Richa Chadda, who looked like they could pass for her sisters.

Just a week earlier, Pinto was spotted with her boyfriend Corey Tran at the U.S. Open, watching Serena Williams take on Kaia Kanepi.

Beauties: The ladies were arm in arm as they showed off their stylist outfits 

The Path star went casual to the premiere, wearing form-fitting blue jeans, white and gold heels and a puffy white blouse, only half of which was tucked into her jeans.

The Indian beauty completed her look with a pair of unique gold earrings and a thin gold necklace.  

Her co-star Thakur rocked a mustard-colored dress with tan heels and long dangling earrings, while Chadda sported a black and white jacket with a black top, black tuxedo pants and white heels, with large hoop earrings.

Love Sonia is inspired by actual events, centering on Sonia (Thakur), who is taken from her Indian village and turned into a sex worker.

Both Pinto and Chadda play sex workers in Love Sonia, but their characters are quite different.

Pinto plays Rashmi, a foul-mouthed woman who is no fan of Sonia, while Chadda plays Madhuri, described in the Reuters review of the film as Sonia's 'spiritual guide.'

Pinto will next be seen on the big screen in Warner Bros' Mowgli, where she plays Messua, the woman who adopts the title character and brings him out of the wild.

The actress also has Only, starring alongside Leslie Odom Jr. and Chandler Riggs, and Needle In A Timestack with Orlando Bloom coming up. 

She can currently be seen in Season 3 of Hulu's The Path, where she plays Vera Stephans, the publicist for Eddie Lane (Aaron Paul).

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
