«Breaking News» Emma Stone charms in short black and white ensemble ahead of her talk show appearance in New York

She has a number of major projects being released in the forthcoming weeks.

So it comes to no surprise that Emma Stone's downtime is nearly non-existent.

The 29-year-old was on-the-go again Wednesday in NYC, where she made quite the impression while arriving at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

She complemented her look with a pair of black heels while keeping her eyes covered with a pair of black sunglasses.

Given that she is expected to play the role of Cruella de Vil in the forthcoming Cruella film, it appeared as if Emma was channeling her character months before she is even expected to start shooting the motion picture.

For her latest project, the La La Land actress will star alongside Jonah Hill in Netflix’s TV series Maniac, which premieres on September 21.

The 10-part series is already being named one of the most anticipated releases by the media giant since the Will Smith-led film Glow in 2017.

In a recent interview to promote the Netflix series, Emma admits to having signed her contract before even taking a look at the script.

The Easy A star tells Digital Spy that she didn't hesitate to sign on the dotted line, stressing that she had been wanting to work with Hollywood director Cary Joji Fukunaga for as long as she could remember.

 'I loved the idea of working with Cary. I was a fan of his work, and the concept I thought sounded really fascinating.'

Stone then went on to admit that, despite having signed her contract, she was then left with mixed emotions since she wasn't quite sure how the story was going to be developed given by the synopsis line she received. 

'But again, it was a log line. It was a sentence. So once Patrick came on board and really developed it in the way that he did, it was a bunch of moving parts that came together.'

Fortunately for the red-haired Oscar winner, she couldn't be happier with the outcome of her forthcoming TV series.  

Aside from the Netflix project, Emma will also be returning to the big screen in November as she takes on the role of Abigail in the R-rated film The Favourite.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
