Tyron Woodley successfully defended his welterweight title for the fourth time with a second round submission of England's Darren Till at UFC 228 in Dallas, Texas on Saturday night — Woodley's first submission win in 11 UFC fights.
'Tyron was the better man — sh*t happens,' said Till in his post fight interview, 'I'm gutted.'
'It really, really hurts,' added the Liverpudlian striking ace.

The champion then landed some thunderous ground and pound but somehow Till clung on to survive for three minutes
But the Liverpool native failed to see the end of the second round as Woodley sunk in a choke, forcing Till to tap
Till was caught a straight right hand as he looked to close the distance in the opening exchanges of the second round. Woodley followed him to the ground and landed a feast of elbows and punches, with the referee taking a close look on multiple occasions as he questioned whether he should stop the fight.
With less than a minute left on the clock, Woodley latched onto a D'arce choke, which forced Till to tap out as the champion squeezed on his neck.
In the co-main event, Jessica Andrade cemented her place at the top of the UFC's strawweight division with a spectacular knockout of Polish striking sensation, Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
The Brazilian sent Kowalkiewicz reeling in the first exchange with power right hand. Although Kowalkiewicz regained composure briefly, a right hook bucked her just before the two-minute mark that stopped the contest.
Till was dejected after his defeat but vowed to come back stronger than ever and learn from his first loss in the UFC
Woodley was given his black belt after securing the submission and looked emotional as he gathered his thoughts

'There are two Brazilians fighting for a belt on December 29 — I want to be fighting for a belt too,' said Andrade, whose only defeat in the division came to former champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, as she called for a clash with champion, Rose Namajunas.
Zabit Magomedsharipov reminded the word of why he is one of the greatest prospects in MMA with a slick kneebar finish of shot notice replacement, Brandon Davis, and called for a showdown with former title contender, Chad Mendes, following the big win.
Davis proved a worthy adversary as he constantly looked to score with power punches while marching the Russian down. Magomedsharipov began to use a body lock in the first, which he utilized in the second again to force the action the ground.
Still on Davis' back from the takedown, Magomedsharipov attacked a leg instead of his neck to score a sensation submission stoppage.

The fans may have booed Jimmie Rivera when the final bell sounded after his bantamweight clash with former flyweight contender John Dodson, but the win will be as sweet as any the New Yorker has had coming off his first UFC loss — a brutal knockout loss to Marlon Moraes. Rivera lifted his hands in triumph when his return to the win column was announced. The loss to Moraes snapped a 20-fight winning streak for the 135er.
Abdul Razak Alhassan won a meeting of top middleweight prospects when he flattened Nico Price with a series of haymakers. Price ate a number of the judoka's blistering fastball right hands until a left hook separated him from his senses and brought a stop to the middleweight bout in the first minute.
Tatiana Suarez announced herself as a serious contender in the strawweight division with a third-round victory over former champion, Carla Esparza. Suarez increased her undefeated record to 8-0 with the dominant win, which has cemented her status as a serious prospect in the bracket on the back of her victory over Alex Grasso.

Earlier in the night, Aljamain Sterling took a home a nearly identical kneebar finish too Magomedsharipov when he handed Cody Stamann his first UFC loss in the second round of their bantamweight meeting.
Opening the preliminary card, Darren Stewart regained parity for the British convoy with a second-round win over Charles Byrd. Stewart found a gap for a stunning show as he clinched with the American in round two. After landing a flush right hand, Stewart smelled Byrd's blood and stayed on him with measured shots before the fight was stopped.

Diego Sanchez proved too much Welsh fighter, Craig White, who faced a veteran opponent for the second time in as many UFC outings following his short notice-debut loss to Neil Magny at UFC Liverpool.
The TUF 1 veteran used his wrestling to take White down on every occasion that he ran into trouble on the feet. 'The Thundercat' couldn't find a way to get back to his feet, but appeared to hurt Sanchez on the few occasions that he did manage to connect.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
