Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick has revealed her parents nearly handed her over to police because of her cocaine addiction.
The 62-year-old, who played Marcia Brady in the popular 1970s show, became addicted to drugs as a young woman to the extent that she would stay awake for days on end because 'nothing else mattered'.
She said she only stopped when her parents threatened to call the cops and her husband of 33 years, Michael Cummings, threatened to leave her.

'My mom and dad, they almost turned me in to the cops,' the actress told US Weekly.
'They were at their last… because they had been trying for years and knew something was going on and I was pretty sneaky and I could hide very, very well.
'But then I started messing up on jobs and so many things, so I'm sure everyone in the industry at the time knew that I was flaking out.'

McCormick said it was her husband who eventually helped her turn her life around by telling her he would leave if she ever did hard drugs again.
'It woke me up,' she said. 'It was like the coldest shower you could ever take, there's just no way I’m gonna lose somebody that I love.'
McCormick played iconic Marcia Brady on the Brady Bunch from 1969-1974, and later starred in The Brady Brides in 1981 alongside her TV sister Jan, Eve Plumb, now 60, in 1981.
But her life has been far from a sitcom. The actress wrote an eye-opening tell all in 2008 titled Here's The Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice.
The best seller chronicled, among other things, her descent into addiction, trading sex for drugs, crippling depression, and a battle with bulimia.
She now lives a quiet life outside Los Angeles with her husband and their 29-year-old daughter, Natalie.
In 2007 McCormick joined the VH1 reality show Celebrity Fit Club, and went on to win the competition by dropping 38lb from her 5ft, 3in, frame.
Two years later, she had packed back on all the weight and and then some before working with a trainer to get back to her goal weight of 125lb in 2011.
In 2015, she competed in the Australian version of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, where she camped out with fellow celebrities, ate bugs, and revealed that she used to date Michael Jackson.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
